i wanted to discuss what a recent changes brough to the game.
GENJI and TRACER are most iconic and loved heroes since game was released in 2016
since then, tracer was always a top hero, S tier choice for ranked games and even for eSports
She can apply DPS passive with 1 dmg to multiple targets even from range
she can’t climb, but her presence in backline is scarier and distracts up to 3 players easily.
Tracer is also a high dmg, fast realod hitscan type, that can 1 clip you if you staying still
After changes in S9 with HP bonus for everyone they spoiled Genji’s ult saying nothing should be oneshoting anymore
and now in S12 they made 225 mobility heroes ( where Genji is also an exception lol) making them being combo one-shottable again by Hanzo or Junkrat.
Genji shurikens are still NOT relayble source of dmg even with “bigger” size of projectiles. It’s easy to miss so DPS passive can’t be applied
With Juno in roster we add to the game another Flying hero, that speed boost whole team, making any not hitscan hero being or Poing blank like junkrat or just a throw pick.
Some ultimates in the game became just useless.
If you feed dmg to Junkrat, he will tire up to 1to4 people in your team
if you feed tracer, next fight it will be 5v4
By time Genji has ult - everyone else could have ult and some abilities are just stronger than his
Many times it happen that flying Juno (with no ring boost) going backwards
outruns Genji with mov. speed buff 30% which is insane
doing 2 to 3 hits to kill an ANA is making this ability really useless and high risk low reward situation, now people just bait ultimates with this.
idk if Necros who was a last and more famous Genji streamer will ever comeback before other game release.
i mean, i played this game for heroes like Doom, Genji, Lucio.
Something that is uniqe for this fps… but they just keep ruin the fun
Devs also destroyed the identity of Sojourn in OW2, it was iconic for the game and now its just nothing, an alternative version of Solder, with no falloff on longer range, alt fire as Hitscan instead of rockets that does 150dmg if u hit the head ( lol solder is aoe with 120 per rocket)
