Are Tracer Pulse Bomb nerf really required anymore?
since basicly there will brigitte on every comp now
she can heal tank instantly 150 HP
and she can pre amor tank so zarya/orissa wont get 1shoted by stick bomb anymore
pulse bomb nerf will make an ultimate only doing 150 damge on tank (150 get healed right away)

If they didn’t nerf her PB, the cries for Tracer nerfs would never stop. I’ll take the nerf and move on. It just means I have to do more work in addition to the pulse bomb if I ever stick a tank. I can live with that.
What I don’t like are lazy Overwatch players who are still asking for Tracer nerfs even today, even now that Brigitte is here. The epitome of laziness.
Let them have it. That plus bridge in comp is crippling enough no-one has any room to cry anymore.
even new hanzo is a crazy hard counter to tracer. She didnt need the nerf at all.

I don´t think tracer needed a nerf, especially considering that brigitte was coming soon. I think bridgitte alone would be good enough of a nerf to tracer due to the amount of armour in play right now.
IMO they should have waited until bridgitte went to comp, before nerfing her. Notice that I’m not even a tracer main, I’m a Ana main, so this is genuinely what I think about it.
seems to me they want to strengthen the mid range health 250~350.
They deliberately killed triple tank, and have actively been buffing heroes for the purpose of discouraging quad tank. I honestly think the 3/3 meta is mostly down to incompetence on their end, rather than intent. Seems unlikely that this is the meta they were trying to force (and yes, they absolutely force metas)
You have a good point. The main thing they were trying to force was anti-dive. They went waaay overboard with that knee-jerk, though. lol
And … yeah, here we are with this 3/3 thing.
I think they did it intentionally to make sure that Brig becomes meta. Otherwise you’d have people pulsing Brig in high level play when she starts to rally.
Think about it. No one ever complained about the damage from pulse bomb. All the complaints were about charge. And then after 2+ years, “it’s suddenly too
effective versus tanks” despite the fact that it was used on Winston or D.Va a huge amount of time (when it was used on tanks) and was literally one of good forms of required counterplay to them.
however, a pulse bomb that deals 400 damage will almost always kill brigitte when she starts to rally
whereas a pulse bomb that deals 300 will almost never kill her.
it’s literally obvious why they did it
they probably nerfed junkrat grenade size for the same reason since he’d be used to spam her shield. now it’s a bit harder, especially with how small the shield is relative to other shields
To be fair, Junkrat is one of the best dps heroes, and there are many maps where you’d rather run triple support double tank to fit in a Junkrat, if not a Widow.
Yeah, but why not nerf his grenade size earlier? It’s very unlikely that he somehow suddenly started to hit more grenades than before.
