Many of you do not know this, but Tracer is the worst Damage heroes of all time and it’s true. She runs out of ammo way too fast. She does no damage. Her Ultimate is useless because all enemies easily dodges it and does no damage. It’s a prank bomb. Doesn’t help. Worst heroes ever.

Idk I’ve had tracers blink and bomb/pick whole backline within a few seconds. I’m gonna say skill issue
Certain heroes she shouldn’t even be going against. She’s fine if she’s played smart.
You’ll have to tell Top 500 players she’s trash actually. Since Overwatch 2, she’s the most played hero in top500. Look at the leaderboard. 54 out of the top 100 NA have Tracer as their most-played hero.
She did get a lot more annoying to play in OW2. I’ve talked about this before. Maybe it’s just me, but DPS as a whole feels so much harder.

This is completely BS of a thread and anyone can see by just looking into top 500 RQ for America PC and see Tracer at top of nearly every page for DPS picks. This is even with various tanks being played from dive tanks, junkerqueen, ramattra, and sigma in play. All sorts of team styles being played and Tracer is usable in nearly all of them.
Tracer is still fire and one of the best characters in the game. The only reason Tracer is ‘useless’ to players is a huge player problem. The lower tiers give people flat easy options to deal with tracer, but as you go up the picks like Moira and Torbjorn aren’t as effective. Tracers play smarter. They burst you down faster than you can kill them as Moira.
Personally, DPS is harder because removing a tank removed a very easy playstyle from the game. A very easy strategy for low and midtiers is either just farm tanks or focus fire tanks for ults in OW1.
If you can shoot a tank all day as S76 destroy barriers and killing the tank from operating before your tank goes down your team kind of just wins the fight. It doesn’t require much brain power. It doesn’t require much aim. Tanks are very easy to hit.
With one tank gone, getting giga buffed with giving 30% less ult charge, one less damage dealer, armor flat giving 30% dmg regardless of damage type, and more health its very hard to burst tanks down. Even without shields being spammed.
This means the stronger way to win is killing supports or DPS, but this is harder since they are behind the tank usually and hitting smaller targets is harder than bigger ones.
It also doesn’t help in a way because many of the burst damage combos are just gone now. Junkrat mine combo is less reliable. S76 got a dmg nerf on his primary fire. Cass lost his easy stun → flashbang kill. Mei can’t freeze anymore. Torb turret is reduced health.

I did shoot tanks to build some quick charge, but I was aware that was a bad thing to do, so I didn’t focus on it. But I definitely did do it more than I should; not afraid to admit that. XD
I think a personal issue for me also (that I’ve talked about before. I hate to sound like a broken record) - is that I have a severe vision problem, and I do think the graphics update screwed with something.
The graphics may be better, but it’s harder for me to identify enemies. I don’t know, it’s just not felt the same. Like even Vs. AI or the Junkenstein PVE, I did way worse than in OW1. I wish I could identify the problem exactly, but meh, who knows.
Ah well, at least I can still healbot on a moderately ok level. 
She’s one of the most consistently used heroes in top 500.
She’s literally the most used character in top500. She’s currently a lot stronger than she needs to be, since well, she helps keep Widow in check alongside Zen and a couple others.

The OW forums are entirely temporarily embarrassed t500s lmao. Everyone immediately jumps to a list of the 500 best people to justify their balance perceptions as if it remotely affects them.
I play with generally GM players, and I see nothing but Tracers being absolutely dunked on. She’s a terrible hero that is almost always worse than nearly anyone else on the roster. Perhaps not for a select handful of amazing players, but I suppose I’m unique here in not looking to other people to form my opinions.
Nah tracer is incredibly strong.
I never played her but tried her in QP. If you have a good positioning an aim and the enenmies are placed in a good spot then she is crazy good.
You’re probably missing your shots.
She has far and away the best kit for a DPS hero and it’s not even close. Not to mention she’s annoying as heck to play against for the vast majority of the playerbase.

They’ve been playing a lot of Sombra/Tracer Dive. 
In the vacuum that is comp deathmatch where you really get to see each heroes power level individually, I’ve come to the conclusion tracer and echo are far and away the best heroes in the game
Tracer feels much harder to play on Dia because Pharah, Torb, and hitscans. In Overwatch League and Top500 people don’t play meme heroes, and she thrives…
But she’s fine. She demands a good track aim. You can one clip any supp or dps.
