Tracer Nerf, It was for the Tanks

This isn’t for regular users of the forums, you guys are fine.

Redirect someone here everytime you see a Tracer One Trick/Main whine about the nerf on other platforms and such.

The Tracer nerf was to HELP THE TANKS.

A decent Tracer can get a Pulse Bomb extremely quickly so what they’d do is farm one, then stick A TANK WITH A HUGE HIXBOX then ONE CLIP THEM.

And with the shifting meta TANKS are more and more harmed except for basically Orisa and D’va and in some ways Hog.

Oh and BUFF WINSTON’S BUBBLE

Reaper’s job is to be a tank buster, Tracer is not, her job is to be a high mobility flanker taking out supports and low hp targets being her main priority

Lies!!! Tracer was nerfed because of Genji and Genji was nerfed because of Tracer. All nerfs are due to Blizzard protecting their precious flankers! This is known! The forum has proved it many times. I can’t believe you sheeple haven’t caught on yet. /s :rofl:

Tracer is too strong, Reaper isn’t. he’s also supposed to be a tank buster

This. It often seems to escape the mind of the forumers that tanks shouldn’t be easy to kill.

By definition they should not be vulnerable to being 100-0’d by one hero, or at that point they stop being tanks.

Tanks exist to attract enemy fire and die as a result of being focused. It should take a collective effort to take a tank down.

Tracer however seemed to ignore this entirely, partially filling Reaper’s niche on top of being a nightmare for stationary squishies.

Scatter removal and Pulse bomb nerf is going to help Orisa and Rein immensely, and i am happy about that.

See, you were going somewhere with this post, but then you said BUFF WINSTON BUBBLE and now you look bronze. Sorry buddy but buffing Winston is the LAST thing Blizzard wants to do.

Just the bubble to 800hp like it used to be planned, allegedly.

The cooldown time is 13 seconds, dude and the shifting meta will be for him.

Both him and Rein need buffs to their shields.

It never used to be 800hp.

At least Reinhardt isn’t dominating the meta atm. But there is no excuse for a Winston buff.

Orisa is not going to be dominant with her current kit.

The thing is, the meta is changing, dude.

It has a 13 second cooldown for 600hp.

It’s also the shape of a bubble (blocks all directions) and Winston’s mobility means he can put it anywhere.

In one update we lose two tank killing abilities, scatter and pulse bomb dmg reduction. It’s a nice start but tanks in general like Rein need more than this and deserve their own buffs.

As a D.Va main/tank player this is the best nerf I’ve seen in a while. Well, that and the removal of Simple Geometry™. No more random gg ez instagibs on tanks.
