I mean, every single game has a tracer and Dva on the opposing team. On the rare times you run into a game without them, the game is more fun.
It’s truly a joke. This game is not balanced. If you want to be completely unbiased - and give nothing but the truth…ask yourself this question…
If your team wins…you save your life.
If your team loses…you die. Literally.
You are the coach - that’s it. The map will be random. Offense then defense. The players on both teams with be random olayers from the same rank. Either 12 Master players…12 GMS…12 Top 500’s…12 platinums…whatever. The only thing you get to do…is PICK your characters that 6 random overwatch players will play…
Who in their RIGHT MIND isn’t going to put DVA and Tracer on their team?
When is Blizzard going to do something with these heros? Oh yea, that’s right…they won’t…because overwatch league players literally play for money and the mere threat of nerfing the overpowered heroes that they dominate with may hurt them…so let’s just tell everyone who would like a diverse game to 'Git gud"…
And act like they have trillions of counters.
Mentally jot down the games you play in which you don’t have an opposing tracer or Dva…and I bet those games are more fun. I’m talking to the non tracer mains and Dva one tricks.
lol, there is never a period where you hear someone say “Switch to Tracer” or “We need a Tracer” if you don’t have one on your team. You hear it for DVa a decent amount, but never for Tracer.
Maybe it has less to do with “meta,” and more to do with the fact that those are arguably the two most fun characters to play. There is a large community of players who don’t read forums about the game, watch Youtube videos / TWITCH streams, or any other form of studying… they just play the damn game.
With casuals it stands to reason that they will just pick their favourite characters, and as I said before, those are arguably the two most fun characters in the game.
You never hear a “Switch to” any hero the majority of the time anyways. This is a terrible way to justify your belief that tracer isn’t an issue. People play to win. Tracer is in every game regardless of team composition. It is because she fits everywhere, in any comp, with any style…and she has the LEAST amount of counters.
Tone her down.
Make it 4 seconds before a blink recharges. Anything. But to leave her as be to just continue to be in every single game is ridiculous.

If you picked these heroes, and ran to as many counters as characters like…
Reaper has…Hanzo has…Bastion has…Pharah has…

Genji counters Soldier. So if soldier wants to put himself in the best scenario possible to survive an engagement with Genji, he has to plan ahead . . . keep his distance, catch genji by surprise…manage his helix rockets… etc.
Winston is countered by reaper…so he has to plan ahead, engage on isolated targets who are distant from reaper…keep his leap off cooldown when reaper is approaching to bail…etc.
What in the world does Tracer has to do against her supposed counter…“McCree”.

There is literally no effort needed for tracer to turn her counters into lunchmeat.
I hear people say things like , “Switch because Hanzo/Sym/Reaper isn’t working”
Rarely do I hear a “Switch to a specific hero”. In other words, you don’t hear this every game. When someone wants the dps to switch, they generally want you to switch to anything other than the hero you are running because they believe that you are the problem. None of this mean that tracer and dva isn’t an issue.
No. I’m calling OP on heroes who are evidently unbalanced. I’m sick and tired of seeing them in every game. And they are in every game because people want to win…so you are going to roll with heroes that give you the best chance to win. >>>OP heroes.
Um, I see Genjis every single round as well, and I hate them even more. I have killled thousands of Tracers, and I couldn’t really care less about seeing her, but Genji, oh Genji is just stupid😂
If your team coordinates or stays together, Tracer is pretty useless. Whenever I play her, I punish the people who don’t group up👍
