The same no risk, high reward, tier of heros that nobody actually has fun playing against that are all in this game.
Instead of making brigitte just as unfun as the other two so that they actually have some form of counter, just remove all three because they are completely anti fun to play against.
Is this a joke? I mean Iāve heard people complain about Brigitte being no skill, but Tracer and Genji are like the most skill-based heroes in the game.
As annoying as Tracer and Genji are, theyāre essentially the poster children of high risk, high reward⦠I have no clue what youāre talking about here.
Obviously im biased, but I agree. Tracer/Genji in the hands of someone who dedicates the time to master them is a nightmare to deal with. But for everyone else they arenāt much of a threat. I think OP is just salty because he had to deal with a good tracer/genji that no one could focus down.
Yeah, Iād imagine so. Tracer and Genji honestly feel fine to me at the moment. I think theyāre both in a good place. In fact, I think Brig is actually in a good place too.
Tracer and Genji are literally some of the highest skill heroes in the game. They require game sense, significant aim, and significant movement mechanics to master. Brig requires game sense (barely). To compare them to Brig is actually hilarious.
Tracer has been the most balanced hero in the game, since release. She is the most fragile character, which is why she is so balanced. She has to be extremely powerful, because her health pool makes her the OPPOSITE of low risk high reward. She requires the most tracking of all heroes, good game-sense to know who to fight and who to avoid, where everyone is, etc. Needs to have tons of practice for good pulse bombs, and needs to have amazing reflexes and ability management to get good blinks, recalls and pulse bomb kills.
Genji is also a very balanced hero. All parts of his kit have an extensive learning curve. Despite being one of the most popular heroes, good Genjiās are still rare. You need good projectile aim, knowledge of his kit and all of itās tricks, amazing reflexes and ability management for all of his moves, and need to have good game-sense when picking targets. Heās hard to balance because if you make any part of his kit worse, he becomes such a risk to run, that playing him isnāt worth it.
Brigitte on the other hand⦠she is debatable. I feel like her cool-downs are in the right place, itās the health-pool that I think needs to change. Her shield does at some times feel like an extra 600 health. Unlike rein, she can put up her shield much faster and take it down much faster. So if you are skilled with her you can avoid tons of abilities. I think that she should not have the 50 armor, even though it makes logical sense. This way, unless she ulted, she can be bursted down easier. The only part that I donāt like about brig is how strong she is during teamfights. Thatās where she is designed to excel, but she does so little too much for a support character. If she is being healed in any way, she is nearly unkillable without a ton of focus fire. Thatās all I really think needs to change though.
Brigitte
Medium skill medium reward (unless enemy is trying to hug her)
Tracer
Above average skill high reward but Brigitte fixed that.
Genji
High skill high reward
Meh, Tracer not so much. Yes sheās got a high skill ceiling, but it dosenāt take a lot to have a big impact with her. Genji I think requires more skill.
But to the OP, Tracer and Genji arenāt unfun to play again. Brig is well. Brig. But killing a Tracer as Zenyatta is really fun, and stopping Genjiās ult with Trans is really fun to me as well.
