She needs some love especially now that she’s becoming a scapegoat for the forums and the hate surrounding her. Post anything at all from your Tracer highlights or fails, to Tracer related memes. Tracer was the first character I played and I dedicated quite a lot of time to playing her. I enjoyed her perky fun-loving attitude and her design. I really wish people would believe that forum Tracer doesn’t exist. She does not have infinite blinks, 100% accuracy, or 299 HP.

She shouldn’t be nerfed to the point that anyone can just one-shot body-shot her on their own without help. If you want the option to outplay Tracer then do it. Pick Ashe and one shot her in the head. She’s got a faster fire rate and a better chance of doing it then Widow or Hanzo does. Pick McCree and out play her by not throwing your flashbang out the sec you see her. Shoot at her and see if you can bait out her recall first by hitting her or use it just after she blinks since it has a radius you don’t even need to hit her with it. Use combat roll to close the distance if she is outside flashbang range. Tracer can be outplayed.

I’ll start us off.

The world could always use more heroes.

I dont want to turn this into a tracer balance discussion

But when the only option to kill a hero is a 1 shot headshot then we have a problem, not everyone can do that

How in the world will Combat roll close the distance on a tracer?
Does she go full air head and stand still while the combat roll happens because of how impressed she is?

“Why did you shoot me? I was standing here watching your amazing combat roll!”

You know, if I didn’t know better I’d say that it sounds like the person playing McCree requires a lot more effort than the person playing Tracer in that situation, and that the McCree is requiring a lot more skill in that situation than the Tracer. But that can’t possibly be true because I’ve been assured by the forums that Tracy is one of the two most high skill characters in the history of video games.

I’d love to play her counters but seeing as I’m usually the support being killed by her, I kind of can’t. And suspiciously, no one else seems willing or capable of it. :man_shrugging:

Feelings never saved any other hero from getting gutted. Sorry, there’s no room for mercy anymore.

Not to mention how they just got Brig back-to-back nerfed based on imbalanced skill matchups. :roll_eyes:

Too close range

Its not fast enough, she can recall, its also super hard to nade tracer accurately

Direct hitting a tracer aint easy, plus all the hitscans make pharah hard to use…

Cd too long :confused:, tracer can easily poke him from a distance

But still…lets not turn this thread into a tracer balance discussion

The combat roll/flashbang combo takes less then a second to pull off. I guarantee you will catch many Tracers off guard at your rank.

I mean his rolls are pretty spectacular, you wouldn’t expect someone at him to be so good at baking but he does it anyway.

I appreciate Tracer for what she is - a broken mess that Blizzard refused to nerf so they introduced an even more broken mess to counter her and most of the roster.

In platinum Tracer has a 1.89% pickrate and 48.95% winrate, wow what an OP hero in platinum
