… someone asking another person to change heroes.

Every time someone accuses me of being an idiot and they ask both teams to report me just because I ask one other person on our team to switch heroes to something the comp would be better off with (mind you, their profile says they play the hero we would like to have instead), I want to reach through that person’s monitor, grab their computer, and then FaceTime them on their phone so they can watch me lather it up with gasoline and light it on fire.

Or you could just let it not get to you and move on. Why let someone you don’t know have such a big impact on your enjoyment?

Because they ask others to report me for no reason and then they do and it puts my account at risk since the reporting system is so inconsistent with good use and mis-use

what was your “asking” tone like (if in voice)?

how did you phrase it? (ex1: PlayerX, can you switch to Rein? ex2: PlayerX, it’d be far less stupid to pick Rein, so can you do that?)

etc etc

You’re right, nicely asking someone to switch isn’t reportable. But judging by the tone of…well, everything you ever post, including this one, I doubt you asked nicely. Comments like “xxx you’re terrible switch now” is absolutely toxic and should be reported.

I said “Hanzo, can you switch maybe?”

He said and did nothing.

Later, I straight up said “one of the DPS please go tank. I don’t care who. Just someone.”

Alas getting an under performing DPS to swap to a useful role in this game is like pulling teeth.

underperforming is hard to tell when you can heroes like winston/d.va/moira that can hold 4+ golds all game from tickle damage hitting everything that dies in fights.

I’m not going to be rude but I’m also not going to keep the same tone when clearly my tone before wasn’t getting through to anyone in terms of the severity of the situation regarding how we aren’t making any progress in the match.

I’m not, but I will say when one of those three says they have golds, it speaks more about their lack of awareness compared to anyone else on their team.
and lets be honest, y’all have done the whole “But I have x medals” justification before.
Unpopular opinion but Moira is not hard to get 3+ golds on.
