To the dismay of my wallet I decided to buy the big premium pass bundle as I really liked the skins and didn’t have the premium pass yet. I also figured I could put the ow coins toward the new cowboy bebop bundle as well. Didn’t wanna spend a bunch all at once and figured I’d wait a bit to get the rest of the bundle. Still wanted to try out one of the new skins tho, so I got it from the hero gallery directly thinking I could get the rest of the stuff discounted by the amount I had just spent (y’know just like every other live service game) Come to find out the price is not even close to 1900 coins cheaper. I SHOULD have to only spend 3700 but apparently blizzard only discounts at a certain rate and the bundle is still 4794 coins. If I do get the rest of the bundle I’m getting screwed out of 10 bucks solely because I didn’t buy everything at the same time. There’s no way of refunding premium currency either so this skin is stuck in my inventory forever and my money is already gone. I don’t get why blizzard abuses the people that want to support them so bad

honestly idc if thats how they always worked cus its still BS and its not listed anywhere that they work like that. Maybe its my fault for thinking that blizzard would do the reasonable thing and make it work the same way that every other game with similar bundles works (i.e. fortnite) but I really do think its something worth being addressed, especially with their steps that they have been taking since launch to make the monetization less predatory. This is my punishment for spending money on this game tho ig.

There are things the consumer is assumed to know, and bundle pricing has been a consistent part of the market for centuries, if not millennia.
wtf are u even talking abt rn ??? i am aware that bundles make things cheaper than buying them individually I just expected that if i get one thing included in the bundle and then try to buy the rest of the bundle that the cost of the initial item would be subtracted from the bundle’s cost. This is how literally every other big game with premium currency works. honestly idk if ur just stupid or what but whatever bundles ur talking about from hundreds of years ago has nothing to do with this

well considering the cowboy bebop bundle is leaving in 1 minutes at the time of me replying (but about 13 hours when you posted this), you should’ve just bought the big bundle if you wanted to put it towards the cowboy bebop stuff
or you should’ve waited to buy the big bundle until the end of the season so you didn’t spend loads of money rn
Blizzard, almost, never did that. Neither EA with BF at least.
It’s been like this for a long time. While I sympathize with your situation, they mostly never discount anything buying parts of a bundle. Either pay up the bundle or wait for a discount on the desired part.

if you buy it on the blizzard website it does do that, but only for things that cost overwatch coins/credits not the big bundle op is on about because it just costs money not in-game currency

Sounds like you might have been going by Fortnite logic…Sensible, but doesn’t apply to this game.
Each item in the bundle is discounted when you buy them together. You only get the discount if you spend the full price of the bundle.

my man, the bundle exists for a reason. since you you’re not mathing the math correctly let me help you. For example:
The cassidy cowboy bebop bundle is 2500 credits, with the amount of stuff included in the bundle, do you honestly think that the value of the skin inside the bundle is still 1900?
the skin has a discount inside the the bundle, so, when you buy the skin seperately, they adjust the price of the bundle with that in mind.
