She can play passively - aggressively and do huge heals and protection , spam armor packs that with couple with inspire makes her teammates near immortal in 30 m from her
And also protect weak allyes or her self with 2 sec CD whip shot and cancel ults with Bash
The main thing playing her is not push to far, staying near to teammates and looking for dodje enemy ults / abilities
Zarya
Bubble spam is very strong , with it she can save her teammates / her self, pretty hard to dive
Winston
Good mobility , 1200 hp 360° barrier 3 sec CD is very strong for defending / attaking objective
A
Mei
Her wall can effectively isolate supports from tanks that gives huge advante for her team
It also can easialy dodge ultimates
Can easialy duel with low mobility targets / bully Roadhogs
Mercy
Is also very useful because of low CD rez that can bring back contest heroes
Is her ultimates used to damage boost its pretty much end with 1 - 2 pick that is usually gives win for her team
Tracer
The best duelist hero here
Her ult charges very fast , effectively helps her to kill squishes ( dont use it on tanks please )
Junkrat
a lot of spam
Trap that is bvery good against contesting heroes / squishes
Ult is guaranteed kill heroes below 600 hp ( easiast targets are supports except Moira and Lucio )
B
Ana
nade can help a lot at killing fat tanks or Brig and it also spammable
But yeah its pretty hard to heal as her in this mode
Sombra
Can be strong but if you will pay attention at her she will be easialy avoided / shut downed , can be easially chased as mobile heroes
EMP is easialy countered because of fat health and support’s ults
C
Ashe can spam dynamite or easialy escape with " shift " but she doesnt really deal any impact
Sombra should be in A (Total HACKED-hem more like it)
Torb should be moved to B (With how many times you get overload, you’re basically a tank.)
Sigma should be moved to B, maybe A (Rock can interrupt a ton of ults, grasp can give you a ton of health, flux can be a huge game changer.)
Don’t see Echo anywhere on the list, but if she was on here imo she would be in high A tier, with how fast you can get ults in dupe form, I think she’d deserve that spot.
Sombra in B is laughable at best. TP up, hack on the way down. Or hack from high ground. Coming from someone who mains Sombra in Total Mayhem and has hit 100 hacks in 10 minutes
Soldier+Ashe are hell to play against.
And there is no honor for Monkey/Doom and those who pick Sombra at the start of the game (not to counter the first two).
I struggle to see how Mercy & Baptiste aren’t at least sharing the same tier as short cooldowns for IF & Rez are both incredibly useful in prolonged teamfights. Baptiste can easily outmatch Mercy with Burst’s cooldown.
Sigma deserves to be higher as well, flux is too good of an ultimate to pass on. Sombra too with her hack/EMP being able to shut down most of the good heroes.
D.Va needs to be in S-tier. I one-trick her in TM and in almost 400 games, since they started recording TM stats, I have around a 75% win average in the mode. The reason why I say she deserve to be in the S-tier is because she is a counter, to hard-counter for all the annoying / OP characters in this mode.
Sombra - D.Va has no reload and near-unlimited boosting ability. Even if her shotgun blasts don’t do damage they will still interrupt Sombra’s ability to cloak, or hack. The boosting negates any movement penalties from firing her weapon while allowing D.Va to keep up with a teleporting Sombra. The only catch is that you have to be aware of any hiding spots and opposing shields. Thankfully unlimited mobility means that there is no hiding spot that D.Va can’t reach immediately.
Winston - If Winston ever uses their ult it is basically a free ult for D.Va and it’s easy to get 25-50 ults out in a match when there is a Winston on the team. Even if you don’t kill the Winston, by just chucking D.Va’s ult around at random you usually kill more people than Winston’s bubble saves. In 400 games I can count on one hand the amount of times I didn’t receive gold in kills while playing TM as D.Va.
D.Va’s ult negates Wrecking Ball’s ult. Her unlimited shotgun blast and missiles can easily take out a Wrecking Ball as long as you stand on the payload and just track the Ball. It takes like 30 seconds but it’s easily doable. Plus, Wrecking ball is no match for a D.Va ult… kind of. At the very least it drops him down to a sliver of health that can be finished off quickly, or forces him to abandon his swinging around in circles mode.
Lucio is stupidly squishy in TM. His only real use is his unlimited boop ability and even then his boop can’t prevent D.Va from immediately boosting back onto the payload. The trick is to use a parabolic arc instead of flying directly back into his blast… either way, a Lucio has never actually prevented my D.Va from making it back in time.
Mercy - LOL… I love seeing a Mercy in TM. She dies in seconds when I play and my opponents never use her through the whole match. She is the ultimate feeder character because she can’t get away from D.Va’s boost. Plus, every time she tries to resurrect someone it’s a free kill for D.Va.
Zarya - her shields don’t protect enough players from D.Va’s ult. If she is the main tank the opposing team has to run away from the payload which means instant win during overtime. Although I will admit that 1 on 1 she usually wins the battle, but D.Va in TM is rarely about fighting 1 on 1 and more about annoying the whole team by diving and attacking from behind.
As for weaknesses, the only real comp that makes D.Va useless in TM is Symmetra, Junkrat, Brig, Echo, and a healer… usually Ana. Echo is the only flying character than can outmaneuver D.Va in the air, she never kills me but it usually takes too long to 1 on 1 her and I don’t like to be away from the payload that long since the goal is always be crowding the payload. Symm’s turrets slow down D.Va enough that it makes her easy to team up on. And Junkrat can melt away her mech if it teams up with other characters. Usually when I die it’s because the opposing team decides to focus solely on me whenever I arrive.
