wtf is up with Total Mayhem not getting you any profile advancement. mostly the only game mode i play. so my hero’s not getting any improvement in stats is really annoying. the game is dead and there is really no point in complaining about anything. but Role Queue option for Total Mayhem would 100% make the game mode more enjoyable. so many swaps to tank in overtime just to get the win. or having too many tanks to begin with AND THE GAME GOES NO WHERE. total mayhem is the only enjoyable aspect for me to keep playing this game. and even that isnt doing it for me any more.
Always been that way. Seems pretty obvious why, honestly…
Cuz total mayhem would catapult everyone who plays it up the progression latter instantly… its constant ults and very little cooldowns.
Its never really been included in any event challenges or weekly challenges…
Cuz its way to easy to farm challeneges, and now progression lvls in it compared o other modes.
Example—
“Get elims or assists with ultimates” you literally ult every 20 seconds in total mayhem.
“Do X amount of dmg/mit/heals”
Again— with tiny cooldowns— these are all easy as heck to accomplish
In TM.
People would be down with challenges and progression ladder in like an hour…
ive been playing this game mode for YEARS you dont need to tell how it works. OBVIOSLY I get that, can diminish it! cut the earning by half. there’s LOTS you can do besides deny all progression.
Dumb questions get obvious answers.
No matter how u slice it up— total mayhem will always greatly outpace challenge earning potential versus any other mode. And it would be used to unevenly farm progression.
To ask them to impliment an entire new earning algorithm jus so 1 person— a person that admittedly dislikes the rest of the game— including the MANY way more popular modes— is silly and selfish imo.
Its not a popular mode and itd be a waste of resources that are clearly needed elsewhere.
Its literal mayhem— the algorithm to make it earn evenly compared to itself— let alone versus other modes would be absurdly complicated and never fully work.
And for that matter— probably ruin the mode for even you.
It would end up being literally the same people playing the same heroes every game for the sole purpose of farming.
It would kill the mode you enjoy so much.
So if you enjoy it— do so, a d let it be.
Cuz its clear you dont have the forsight to see what ur actually asking for… beyond “make me happy”
