I’m dying dramatically faster after the latest patch. I definitely can’t be anywhere near the frontline now. Healers are writing stuff like “holy crap man you died in less than a second wtf”
I think this is due to two reasons:

Bigger hitboxes.

Support must lay all their focus on the tank now since they are dying a lot faster.
I think Torb felt good early on after the patch but the better my enemies got the more i realized that he’s unplayable unless you stand at your turret spamming m1 at chokes the whole game.
What a pity.

This was totally expected. I knew this was going to happen with the bigger hitboxes.
Torb was already an easy target before the patch. It’s almost impossible to miss him now.

streamers were all saying he would be the s tier meta crazy hero. i believed them too
guess i was wrong and so were they, you wont know till it happens i guess

I feel the same as the Reaper Guy. It’s insane to me that there are people who believe he is better when his counters got substantial buffs and he got baby buffs. The pieces do not fit. Make it make sense!
flats gots him ahead of widow… maybe in high tiers but i dont know about average games.
although playing zen about 3 times i did have a reaper target me, wrecked me actually but yea i shoulda saw it coming. one time he got me i was like yea i heard the ghost step but i was too busy tunneling everything else, should have been in a better position

Yep Torb feels crap
It’s insanely hard to sustain. Your hitbox is already gigantic and with the shooting hibtoxes increase he just get slammed.
Torb needs to spam his dinks but can’t sustain on the field and every mobile character whittles him down with ease.

It depends what I’m facing. Certainly can feel getting shot by Reapers and Ashe
Reaper is alright into Zen because Zen’s hitbox is about the same size. It’s not as if either of them is missing, so it depends on the engagement which is almost always in Reaper’s favor.
Flats has a vendetta against shotgun heroes that shred his precious Reinhardt. That being said, ChoiceIsMe, a top Reaper, believes he is better as well.
I just disagree and I feel that their logic does not add up.
That is true about him and rein so yea i can see his tier list skewed just because of that 
The rein/widow interaction has always been nuetral

Everyone does.
Nobody can, not even the tanks. Everybody needs to regularly seek cover a.k.a. “hide 'n peek”.
You act is if there was a huge development span when in reality we aren’t even one week into the patch. You also discovered your turret - use it. You can place cover and hide behind it with torb, nobody else can to that degree (hiding behind widow mine or sym turrets are hardly comparable by size).
Seems to be the opposite on my end, kept encountering Torbs that dominated lobbies a day or two ago. Now it is just widows usually.
I do wonder if they will revert widows bullet hitbox or something in-between
I should hardcore play her the next couple of days before it happens but probably wont since trying out diff heroes. Ive got my thousands of final blows with widow over the years heh
Torbjorn indeed got hit pretty hard this patch.
Multiple reasons. Soldier, Sojourn, Hanzo, Ashe, Cass etc. cannot miss torb’s head hitbox from far away. He is the only character whose melee attack did not get buffed to compensate for the health buffs unlike Zen’s kick, Brig’s flail, Rein’s hammer etc.
The HP buffs are a big nerf to his turret which does the same damage. Bob got a big buff to his damage to account for the HP buffs but torb’s turret got nothing. Turret gets instantly deleted in a second now because of the prevalence of hitscan so it cannot tag enemies for the 20% debuff.

Torbjörn should definitely have far more HP than this considering how incredibly easy he is to hit.
I can’t keep Torbs alive after the latest update no matter what. They just get instantly melted and then i get flamed for not healing but seriously, who the fk can heal that damage?
I just run with Overload and destroy. Feels the same for me. But I always played flank Torb mostly
Well, Flats has a slight point, in that why on earth do we have anti tank characters when there is only one tank?
Tanks used to peel for each other with abilities to stop Reaper, but now, you just bend over and prepare your buttcheeks because you can’t do anything.
Reaper isn’t the only problem hero of course, but his change is the simplest. Give him shotguns like JQ has, so less damage but longer range, and then he can focus on being a flanker instead, assassinating Supports.
