Reaper’s shotgun spread is pathetic and this is what’s preventing him to be good. No matter how many times you buff his abilities, he’ll never be good because he need to point at almost point blank to deal any significant damage to anyone.
As an avid shotgun user in any fps/action game, i notice it since day one that reaper would not be good because of his shotguns…
i can count on one hand the amount of times i’ve seen a worse shotgun
Problem is, buff damage and he’s GOD in short range.
Buff his spread and he’s one-shotting people from 10 feet away.
I think they should do the following:
Nerf his damage and buff his spread SIGNIFICANTLY
Or, give him longish range grenades like in his short, and maybe give him a speed boost after use so it can be a mid-range initiation ability for him.
I think if they cut his spread back, nerfed his damage, and made his engage/disengage better, they could honestly axe his life-steal ability and he’d be stronger from a better variety of ranges without necessarily being unstoppable because of it. Even with it, he’s still pretty bad though.
I’d like to see his spread reduced alongside his damage. Make him better against squishies, but worst against tanks. And buff his abilities as they’re really boring gn. TP is setup and wraith is disengage. Reaper would benefit having abilities that flow with his gameplay like Tracer’s
