Torb has the longest reload in the game

Torb has the longest single animation manual reload out of the entire roster at 2 seconds… why? I cant comprehend why torb out of all characters has to have a longer reload than every other character. Having a reload that’s 0.5 seconds longer than every other dps character just makes him feel clunky and needlessly slow.

Give him a 1.5 second reload like the rest of the roster and decrease the reload boost he gets during overload if it’s too powerful even though I doubt it’d even be necessary to decrease.

He’s got his lil turret to fill in the dps while he’s in that 2 second downtime, other than that they’re probs just feeling a little quirky

He’s pouring lava into his gun. It should go way slower, its literal lava.

I think the devs actually forgot it’s at 2 seconds cause as they’ve been decreasing the reload for other 2 second reload characters like ball and hog so they made torb have the longest reload in the game by accident

They just touched on him this balance patch so I’m sure they’re aware about his reload speed, I’m just curious what their reasoning is why they think it’s okay as it is

For some reason theyre scared to make his rivet gun actually viable but I think they’re starting to realize torb was only good cause of his turret and after they nerfed it he’s been pretty useless since it really makes the glaring flaws with his gun more apparent especially compared to the likes of other DPS weapons like mccree, hanzo, sojourn, soldier, etc

I mean I’d say Ashe’s reload is way worst even with her ability to stop part-way through. God I’d love to have Cass’s reload-roll on Ashe.

They changed it to 1.6 for manual reload recently

but the ball form is still 2 seconds, which si the form your in most of the time.

I’m an ashe main lmao but her reload is built completely different than all the other characters so I don’t think it really counts

i thought ashe had the longest reload… its nerve racking sometimes especially when getting dived heh. i dont play torb a whole lot so maybe im wrong

Torb has an automatic reload too for when he switches weapon but I’m talking purely about manual reload
