When I saw it happen in LoL I knew it was just the how the gaming landscape is.
Now Marvel gets to flex that “with great power comes great responsibility” thing.
Now they are slowy reaching the point that they are getting a lot of reports and not enough people to deal with them.
Things will change. “Soy ruined this game”

I’ve said before OW2 has one of the least toxic communities out there. When I bring it up here I usually get laughed at.

I genuinely didn’t know if Rivals sent out messages if your report did something.
Gotta admit that 90% of Overwatch games don’t have a single negative toxic message in them. Even not being able to match chat unless you’re a certain endorse level is the way to go
Throwing though I think is one of the things not at all picked up by the report system or at least we don’t really know what Blizzard considers throwing

Yeah, the reporting system in OW2 feels pretty decent. I havent experienced toxcity in the taboo game (only have 49 hrs playtime) but the Steam forums are really bad.
I’ve gotten chat banned 3 times in rivals this week and all of them were only 24 hours
steam forums are bad for every game on the website they’re all brigaded by losers who want to talk about politics for no reason

It’s why I always wonder at people saying OW is the most toxic game they’ve ever played.
Like… have you tried LoL? Entry level is like a gauntlet. I don’t even know what regular games are like cause I got turned off so definitively in my first games.

A trio decided to tell me all kind of brazilian curses/slurs, even saying that I dont have a dad and something like that.
I got silenced because I said “usually I dont mind when people tell me that, I just move on, block and report”.
It was a trio, I probably got bombarded by them with mass spam of reports.
Ive opened a ticket, so far im sitting in Q for 10 hours with no response.
Back in the days we actually had GMs online talking to you within 5 minuts. I can already tell they will say something like “They are right youre wrong, enjoy losing your endorsement lvl 4 and being silenced for 2 weeks”.

By any means necessary, from my perspective. You want comms, better hop in discord with your buddies before you queue, lol.
Try natural selection 2 lol will look like kiddie good shoes.
I have been saying for years that ow is not really that toxic people are apathetic frustrated whiny even but not that cesspool toxicity that happens in other games, here is way less and rare.

Well, like I said, you can turn it all if you choose. But you can’t laugh at (or report) them if you don’t see it.
Seeing “thanks” in game is all the validation I need lol
I’ll keep binging the angry people mad about losing a game.
It’s a good show. Has gotten a bit more rare though. So that means the reports work.

They do, I’ve seen screenshots of a few of them online.
The ones people see the most are for cheating and it’s like “____ was suspended for 100 years for cheat software”.
Actually you can’t, because the mods here will delete your topic if you do.
They went nuts for a couple days just deleting every single topic talking about it as “trolling”, including one of mine. Later I tried to make another topic about it and it was very quickly deleted.
It’s clearly a very sore topic for them and I’m not taking chances on being perma’d from the forums for something dumb like that.
Yes but it’s weird, match chat isn’t called match chat, it’s called something weird like event chat.
