In season 6, I finally hit Top 500 in mystery heros, for the first time ever and I’ve been hyped about getting the general Top 500 player icon, but I didn’t get it.
I recieved the gold weapon points, the Top 500 Sleuth titel, but the player icon is unequippable and is being shown as if I wouldn’t own it.
Has the ability to obtain it beeing removed with the launch of Overwatch 2?
The Top 500 icon has never been given to anyone in OW2. If you didnt get it in OW1, you won’t get it ever. You don’t get any sprays or player icons as competitive rewards in OW2, only player titles and comp points.
Unfortunately, Top 500 player icons and sprays are exclusive to Overwatch 1 and are no longer earnable. I’ve linked the post explaining the Top 500 icon situation here if you want to read about it:
