Too many people cheat in Arcade

It’s so absurd and frustrating. Some many bronze players running around clearly using aim assist or following players through walls. It’s so incredibly frustrating(on top of Horizon being the number 1 map played in Arcade) that every day I log in it’s like the game is telling me give up and never play again. Competitive is frustrating because of leavers… quickplay is actually kinda fine I guess but not at all exciting to play… and arcade is so unbelievably broken do to cheaters.

It’s really hard to tell these days. On one hand, cheats have become way more discreet with adjustable settings to miss every few shots, quick toggles, etc.

On the other hand, I’ve been called a bot (and allegedly reported) a lot of times, but I guess at this point it’s paranoia from the presence of actual cheaters.

I don’t know if that’s true OP, but I DO know I’ve been accused weirdly a few times. I hear footsteps, pre-aim, get called wall hacking. I’ll land a long range shot on Mei, get accused of aimbotting. It was weird when I got accused of aimbotting on a level 2100+ account in QP by someone sub25.

I’ve been accused of walling in FFA for killing someone, then immediately rushing to where I predict they will spawn to kill them again lol

Yeah cheaters are fairly rampant these days in MOST online games. But this game is not packed with cheaters like Hunt: Showdown and Dead By daylight. SO I have to give Blizzard credit. it isn’t as bad as those games are.

Crossplay however has drastically left holes in cheat detection so more players are getting away with it. Regardless if the player IS cross play or NOT.

I one clipped a guy in skirmish deathmatch as Tracer while running next to them in the same direction. They started demanding I perform actions like they thought I was a killbot or something
