It’s gotten to the point now where there are so many cheaters hiding in matches using the wall hacks / ESP all the time, and ready to toggle on the aim hack if they need it. It’s not a tenable situation any more. The later it gets in the day, the worse it gets as the cheaters and sweaty ranks form the late night queues.
Blizzard still do next to nothing about the situation, at best turning a blind eye to it.

Wish I could be so sure. There’s so many cheating, you hear: “nobody is cheating” because mostly it’s the same people responding, asking for replay codes so they can improve their cheats off the back of them.
There’s zero interest in building in security or banning systems. And there will continue to be zero interest while they can still make money doing that.

Are there really that many cheaters in the game? I don’t know, I play almost daily and yes of course I have found some players cheating, but honestly nothing out of the ordinary, every game in the fps category currently suffers from this problem, try playing CS or CoD, you would be surprised how number of cheaters you will find.

Yeah it’s just mistikas’alt account trolling over and over. ^^

Absolutely not. There’s so many ways to exploit the game.
Certainly. They just don’t do it as obviously or at the times you might imagine. But watch it back.
The cheat-makers do a good job of it these days. These are multi-million dollar operations. It’s designed to go undetected.

It’s to a point where I can’t enjoy a majority of the game anymore. It’s currently the worst i’ve ever seen it. going back through replays, it’s almost as tho 99% of my games have cheaters, and when there’s a ban wave, i feel almost like a god playing the game (after re-adjusting my playstyle for non-cheaters

I always ask myself when will the players have enough. What threshold of cheating has to be reached for people to stop playing this cheater infested game or start flooding the forums daily about cheater complaints until devs or whoever is in charge get pressured into taking immediate action.
Do we need to reach TF2 levels of cheating? Because we are basically at that stage. I find at least one soft cheater in every comp or QP game, I encounter stacks of cheaters in at least 30% of my games easily. The game is more or less unplayable, I find myself taking more and more weekly breaks from it. The state of the game is honestly beyond pathetic.
The funny thing is that I had mutiple posts and threads about cheating taken down/deleted because the usual forum dwellers and cheaters/cheater apologists flag them as trolling.
I think that the current OW2 is basically like TF2 and CSGO where there is an unwritten rule that everybody uses cheats therefore you are not allowed to discuss it.

I usually don’t ask for proof of anything… but seeing how confidently you mention how the game is flooded with cheaters and is practically unplayable, I’m sure you must have many games in which there are cheaters.
Can you give us some codes of your games?, seeing your confidence in stating this, I am sure that it will not be a problem to provide a few codes for your games, in the end we are flooded with cheaters, aren’t we?

Play on console with the cool kids. We don’t have to worry about cheaters.

If Blizzard took the approach of actually doing something about it. They should define this in their TOA:
Any person that alters game files outside of the downloaded files and/or manipulates the files to gain an unfair advantage. This includes using a 3rd party program or software device to manipulate the game in such a way that is outside of the game’s baseline operation and functions built into the game.
If such an offense is comitted. The ISP it originated from will receive notice that they have a client performing criminal acts on their network.
A notice will be sent to the recipient’s billing address along with their bill and they will be notified of the bad (Actor).
If this happens again, the person’s ISP will be notified and private investigations will take place of the said (bad actor) . In which in conclusion of the investigation the instigator will be summoned to Court by summons of their County’s sheriff’s department and be presented a court date to stand trial for violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) - 18 U.S.C. § 1030, which includes civil penalties, lawsuits and criminal destruction of communications property and manipulation of software to defraud others. Including but not limited to penalties ranging in 250,000 thousand dollars in fines, restitution and/or 20 years imprisonment.
“too tough” too bad. Don’t cheat. Its theft, its fraud and its computer exploitation. No QQ about false positives.

Thats why I only play shooters on console.
Even then, XIM and similar tech is rampant
I’m all for cracking down on cheating, but come on my dude, this is a bit absurd. $250k fine and 20 years of prison time for cheating in a video game?
Yea cheaters exist but this post screams “I’m really bad at this game so everyone else must be cheating”

Yeah there are certainly times when it’s like being buffed because the cheats aren’t around. Certain times of day in certain countries for example.
And your post is literally the definition of trolling.

I wouldnt pay Joolz to much mind, the people usually defending comments about cheaters are the ones with the heads deepest in the sand. Sad point when the shills on the forums cant even come up with a decent point
