What the actual F. I’ve missed out on hundreds of tokens so far because the system is STILL broken and no word from Blizzard.
Received most tokens last week except the ones where the system screwed me over.
Been watching since 3AM this morning and no tokens today.
I don’t think there even has been a chance to earn “hundreds of tokens”.

If you would have watched the 30 plus hour broadcast of the May Melee alone which I did that would have been 150 tokens right there.
That’s not even including the next couple of weekends of token drops. And this weekend will provide over 24 hours of tokens as well.

No offense but just use the App, very low chance people don’t have a phone that cannot run it or use apps.
You keep using the website and every week you complain it does not work for you! (has rarely worked for others though)

Yes it sucks the website is not working, but complaining on here does nothing specially since they didn’t seem to care or listen the first time and still havn’t in what…4-6 weeks give or take?

I can run the app on my tablet, but my wireless is bad so it’s constantly buffering and fuzzy as heck. Meanwhile, I’m unable to get tokens from watching on my PC that’s got a wired internet connection and has no problems streaming stuff on high quality. It’s a really dumb situation and people should be making noise.
Are you sure drops were for the May Melee? I figured it was just the OWL stuff that gave you OWL drops…
It happens sometimes but I still get tokens, I just keep my phone on the side as it plays. Could have the app open for tokens and the website one if it isn’t buffering there to watch the game
Also didn’t say people cannot make noise about it or least didn’t mean to. I understand peopls frustration with unable to get what they should have gotten for a good month or so now.

To everyone saying just use the app, yes, that is an option and the drops are more reliable. But the app is heavily demanding on the phone battery so I literally cannot watch the entire show without my phone running out of power while charging, nevermind overheating. I had to switch to the website halfway through.
Would not dimming the screen help abit? or having it connected to a USB to charge while it plays, bit worrying some phones drain their battery that quick specially overheating.
Edit: often use website to watch and use app just for tokens, that and use work to charge my phone up my eletric bill is safe
Some weeks ago I had it running through the night to get the tokens, fully dimmed the screen and had it charging. Later that night I woke up from my phone shutting down (and usually my phone would need like 80-90 mins to fully charge without apps running).
Even without charging my phone overheats after using that app for awhile. I’ve never had this problem with any other app before.
i mean, i literally just plug it in and leave it running while i do something on my PC or even watch the matches on my PC
I’ll give you 100 missed max. After that time, you should have noticed you don’t receive them and switched to the app.
you just have to watch the live match.
Leave it to Blizzard to make the crappiest broken website and app and never attempt to fix them.
Let’s all just be honest. They don’t want you to receive free tokens.
They want to be able to inflate their views and receive money for the new MVP skin.

Their app one seems slow to show the live-feed though, from when Wym posts the thread saying it is LIVE it takes 5-10mins for the app one to even show the LIVE button/video for you to click on and watch. That is kinda annoying as usually by time it pops up I missed abit of the match.

So the only other way is to click on Hosted by OWL from within the app then opens a browser to the website.
I wait long periods some times for the video to show up INSIDE the app and it doesn’t so click that external link on my phone and then get nothing.
Mean, just 5 minutes I am missing and that is often not much. Unless the video in your app is legit opening the website to play it then I dunno mine doesn’t do that

I click Hosted by OWL because the internal video inside the app takes forever to pop up.
