She has mobility, not only that but vertical mobility.
She has the single best damage denial ability in the game. Also its not an ability on a cooldown but a resource meter.
She has a semi-burst combo with micro-missiles.
However she isn’t obviously OP like Brigitte was (before the most recent nerfs) or like reworked Mercy was.
she has 2 weaknesses from what i know(could be wrong and she has more) beams and a critbox bigger than genji’s old deflect size

To people who say Bastion isn’t OP
He has the highest DPS ability in the game, and it isn’t even on a cooldown.
He has a self-heal on a resource meter.
He has an ult that can wipe teams.
And he has the highest health of any DPS hero, which CONTAINS ARMOR.

Also he is extremely exploitable, having no mobility while in his most powerful mode. Is easy to zone out and force into transition with simple ults like D.Va bomb (another reason she’s good) or Hanzo Dragon.

I swear I’ve missed something in this forum. Where is “DVA is op” coming from? Rein and Zarya beat her in pick rates? Her kit hasn’t changed for months as far as I’m aware.

Idk, but that uses multiple abilities- primary fire and discord. I said single ability.
It hasn’t and Zarya beats in in the off-tank position in matchmaking because she does more damage which means she’s more fun. However Zarya has no mobility and a huge weakness to basically any range. D.Va can dive ranged heroes and protect her team from them more consistently.
bastion does have a lot more weaknesses than d.va does tbh
Alright then what’re D.Va’s downsides and then we can debate the merit of them and how large they are.
Isn’t that what a lot of people have been complaining about? Double sniper? Or how dive isn’t meta?
She is just as OP as Tracer is, which means they are two of the few really balanced heroes among a pile of unbalanced ones.
No I don’t think the problem is D.Va’s mobility I was using that to show that D.Va is stronger than Zarya which is the main reason D.Va is OP. She has no competition. Seriously look at the off-tank role no one can do as much as D.Va. D.Va has no competition that’s what D.Va needs more than anything else: competition ie another good off-tank or just a Zarya that can do more tanking and damage denial.

Glad you asked.
- Giant hitbox, giant crit-box.
- Slows self down dramatically when using her primary fire.
- Her only form of damage mitigation lasts as a maximum of a couple seconds at a time.
- Her effective combat range is extremely short and requires either excellent tracking or literally putting her guns inside the enemy.
- She is very loud and you can hear her coming from miles away.
- She can easily become an ult battery if not being played well.
- She is defenseless against most CC unless she can eat it with a DM.
- DM requires a profound amount of skill and timing to use effectively.
- Her ult is extremely avoidable and leaves her extremely vulnerable for a short time. It only obtains great value when the D.va deploys it intelligently.
