To many cheaters

What? Are you trying to call me a cheater? Lmao

For every high ranked player incorrectly accused of cheating, there are at least two players cheating that are so covert about it, they don’t get noticed at all.

The numbers don’t lie. There are hundreds of thousands of cheaters, and maybe to this point historically, millions of cheat downloads completed. You really think they give up just because their account got banned? Think again. It only makes them be more covert the next time, and to use the cheat only when absolutely necessary to secure a victory, or score that clutch headshot to win a team fight.

Lastly, those who claim it’s “high ranked players” are either (A) above the middle ranks where cheating is everywhere, or (B) smurfing in those same middle ranks and annoyed they are getting called a cheater.

IMO, smurfing is cheating anyway so you big ego hitscan mains are part of the problem. Most cheaters are using multiple accounts or alts just like you. Because, just like smurfs, they are doing it to get sadistic pleasure stomping on casual lower ranked players.

I hope Toast sees this

That’s a goood laugh AHAHAHAHAHA

Calling ME of all players an ego bloated hitscan player AHAHAHAHA

Both of my accounts are the same exact rank, only about 3 divisions off at most usually.

It’s hilarious how much you incorrectly assume about me just because I accept the reality that they are nowhere near as many cheaters as bad players, who can’t put their inability to climb on themselves, claim there are.

Who cares what Toast or any streamer or vlogger thinks. This is about what’s happening in middle ranks where cheaters generally plateau into.

All those cheats for sale, achieving countless downloads, don’t just disappear when the cheater gets shamed. They smurf too, with a little help.

Cheating is why I prefer to play multiplayer on consoles. The amount of people who will buy a device to use a mouse is low and you can’t run scripts or cheat software.

I thought this was a love letter addressed at lots of cheaters. At least that’s what your title implies. Unless you meant ‘Too many cheaters’.

Either way, played a DM game today. Some Masters dude was wrecking the lobby which resulted in some noobs calling “Cheater!” and getting out the pitchforks. One noob even ragequit and left. Checked the replay after the match, these people literally walked into his crosshair with the most predictable stupid noob movement ever

Noobs calling “Cheater” everywhere and anywhere (this includes certain forums) are so oblivious, it’s funny and sad at the same time.

GM DPS all heroes here

Diamond+ has 1 (blatantly) aimbotting DPS at minimum, lots of the time they come in bunches because they like to queue together (it makes up for their total lack of game understanding when both of your DPS are torb turrets on crack). Tank and support are about 50/50 as per your chances of getting one, but there are less of them (more evenly spread out?) because the roles require you to actually know how to play the game.

Your mileage may vary based on server, when I VPN to NA in my anecdotal experience it feels slightly better, certain servers like OCE are unquestionably a joke in regards to this though.

For context, before the defense matrix update post came out I had 4 ban notifications in a row on login - basically christmas.

I just checked for recent cheat demos on youtube. And yeah… they’re… a lot harder to spot than I’d expect, even from the view point of the cheater.

Actually you can theres just a lot more work involved… and when you consider most choose console over pc for its accessibility… safe to assume most would be far to intimidated by the process…

Welcome to capitalism, you must be new here. This is the whole point of our entire economic system. Line the pockets of the rich with the pittance you make from your tiny paycheck.

I’ve been having a serious uptick of cheaters in my games for some reason, blizzard being as lazy as ever to actually do something.

Thats what happens when it goes free to play & you allow the game to be executed via steam.

And then they proceed to tell us that we don’t know what cheats look like…

Girl, if a Masters+ player can’t easily identify cheats they don’t deserve their rank. We know what cheats look like, and because of that we know they aren’t that common.

Disagree

Also just like the amount of “to’s” used in this post, it’s “too” with two o’s.

Oh no my whole stance has been invalidated by a keyboard psychologist :dotted_line_face:

And too many braindead tanks, and too many noobs in teams of old players, and so on… it’s total BS.

You know how to look for the common mistakes cheaters who are bad at cheating make…

The good ones at it are carrying matches, and most just think their good players…

Take wallhacking for example… do it on hanzo or widow. And most will just assume its sonic arrow or infrared sight…

No, we know what legitimate gameplay looks like. Walling is the easiest to see. If the hacker is bad at hacking, they’re gonna aim at them through the wall. If they have some experience, it’s harder to tell but you’ll see that they know exactly where someone is when that wasn’t possible from their position.

That only works when you’re playing against really bad players. Sonic arrow is telegraphed and so is Infrasight. Good players know when those are active and off cooldown, so if you play like they’re on when they know they’re not, it’s obvious.

Lmfao… ignorance is bliss…

All you gotta do is not track though wallls…

It not hard. Enjoy the anti-cheat doing its job of providing you with a false sense of security

I’ll still know if you have information you shouldn’t have had. As will every good player.
