Found this clip looking through my old stuff… yeah idk man. Stuff like ram ult bad now for clutter but like… lmao
What? Tanks dealt with adversity? Heresy!!
Now show a recent match in ow2
6v6 was better, all they needed to do was tone down the CC and remove a bunch of shields. Moving to 5v5 was overkill, and terrible.
6v6, keep doomfist reworked
The clip gets way better already.
I am neutral about which is better, but one clip where a bunch of ults get used is hardly an accurate representation of the game.
Reduce Tank HP
Reduce all healing output
Delete Sigma
And then give me OW2 heroes in a 6v6 format.
OW2 has 2 hero slots less and still creates more visual clutter than OW1 ever did.
I played OW1 till the last day. It was way better than OW2 in any shape or form.
5v5 sucks.
Go back to 6v6 and remove the stupid role passives and tank health buffs.
And lower healing across the board while we’re at it. And nerf ana + kiriko.
Or just roll back the entire game back to overwatch. The REAL Overwatch.
Ah, I miss that so much lol.
I’m not even kidding.
Wait, so is your issue just the visual clutter? Not saying your opinion is unfair; seeing is an important part of the game. But they could have reduced visual clutter while keeping OW1 a thing; or even added a slider that reduces it. I actually like a lot of visual clutter when it lets me know who’s doing what for me, but most people would say my opinions are unconventional.
I found stuns to be a bigger issue for tanks, but I think that could be solved by making players resist stuns and hard CC more if they’re hit with it. So, if you’re stunned once, you’re stunned for the whole duration. Stunned twice right after the first stun, and its only half as effected. Stunned three times and its even weaker.
This would incentivize saving stunned targets, and make stun stacking less effective while still being a valid strategy to stopping a key target. And then we could give stuns to characters that need it and not just a select few.
You can’t lower healing without lowering damage. Though, I’d be okay with trying that and seeing how OW works with less healing and damage.
Yeah for sure. OW2 is soooo much better at reducing visual clutter.
That mercy beam getting on the way so often. idk how does one even screws things so much.
Just pick a perfectly well working game and ruin it down to the ground.
This looks infinitely more fun than ow2.
The CC is really crazy compared to the current game
The reduction of cc is the only good thing OW2 did. If they just gave us reduced cc in 6v6 and prohibit people from picking two shield tanks it would be perfect. Also why did you shield the ground?
And to anyone who claims 5v5 is better just remember this fact: They absolutely can or could have balanced 6v6, it was a matter of toning down shields/CC only and maybe some minor tweaks. Any new hero would not come out in the form that they did like Ram and his ult. 5v5 however is not balanceable, it ensures every hero in the game will always be nerfed and any buff will force that particular hero to be meta.
Just go back and admit the mistake, and take out RQ while we’re at it because yes OQ was balanceable too.
I just want to know why tanks were considered weak in ow1 when this Sigma just took a beating and he didnt die for a while. What did the raid boss meta solve then? That Sigma looked perfectly fine in 6v6.
I definitely prefer 5v5 to 6v6 in every way, but the example you provided is bad. It’s literally an open que game…. Open que is garbage in both 5v5 and 6v6
To be fair, most of the abilities that hit her were all CC abilities and not real damage abilities
