You did it, you finally did it you guys got too me. So here’s a little background of what happened i was playing junkrat in competitive and my entire team was flaming me because i was junkrat and because i was “useless” the whole time i was playing and so i left voice chat. But they kept flaming me in ALL chat and so then the other team started calling me out and saying i was just terrible at the game and called me things i can’t even say in the forums… at this point i left the game about 75% way through the game. My anxiety got so bad that i started to have a panic attack after that game. To all of you toxic people good on you i’m never touching comp again after that experience now that it’s gotten this bad.

Hard to believe this is whole story due to other team joining in, even I been in games where a team mate called me out because of a hero I played but not as bad as you got even by randoms.
Plus if your anxiety is THAT bad you should either only comp with friends or just not play comp at all.
Plenty of players has anxiety, you just need to know when enough is enough and go to QP or custom or Arcade to calm yourself down and find fun in the game.
Gold weapons are NOT worth any of the stress people suggest.

That’s crappy and I’m sorry you experienced it.
If you want, you can join my buddies and I when we play comp. We’re a 3 stack (we don’t mind going above that) and we defend our teammates - even outside of our stack.

Although I don’t agree with treating someone poorly over a game… even in comp.
Why not just try swapping? When there’s a one trick Junk I just put em on avoid and play Zarya because it’s a win 80% of the time.
Even if you just show that you’re willing to try something else, it defuses most of these situations.

Then why didn’t you swap if you were obviously under performing? Instead of digging your heels and making it worse for yourself. Like sure, people shouldn’t be as toxic as they are, but you didn’t do anything to make the situation better for yourself either, and from the sounds of things it’s not exactly like they were wrong on their assessment on your performance.

What kind of play style? He literally said nothing about the details of the game except he was playing Junkrat.
Don’t project the experiences of your own games as an excuse to be toxic to this person. You have no idea what that game was like, it’s possible he had 4 golds, but you assumed differently based on your own experiences.

Regardless of how you played you dont deserve to be flamed like that. People take things too far. I hope you reported all 11 of them. What a bunch of cowards are ganging up on you like that. Those types wouldnt do or say anything in person.

Sadly comp is full of players who prefer the “meta” team and JR is not in them, unless you are with friends solo queing is just asking to be a target for toxic people to ruin your day, mute and report in future but that won’t make you safe from them reporting you for “throwing” in their eyes for playing JR in comp.

When your allies and Enemies flame you, you know something is wrong and that this isn’t the entire story.
Besides did say he only had bronze damage and didn’t play at his best, so I’ll assume he wasn’t effective and wasn’t doing a good job.
