The overwatch subreddit has to be 10x more toxic. There’s constant downvotes there and every post has some sorta twitch meme that ruins it. Spend a week on the subreddit and when you come back, this will seem like heaven.

True, the subreddit is really toxic and it’s impossible to talk about non meta hero without getting “yelled” at

My problem with the forums (especially just recently) are the multiple threads that come up that are all the same. seriously we got like 8 different nerf Brig threads right now. They should just merge all those together.

You sure? All I’ve seen from r/Overwatch are an endless supply of people posting random POTGs over and over.
Really? I spend a fair time on both and even hero specific subreddits and I thought that these forums were far more toxic. I was surprised at how different each hero’s subreddit community was.

“Better than Reddit” is not much of a sell.
Imagine thinking reddit more toxic than here lmao. This place is absolutely worse than reddit, and I think that the OW sub is a trash heap of garbage highlights of D.Va presses Q.

There should be some sort of filter the website searches when someone types in the title to their thread and then offers up the results like a “Do any of these existing threads cover the topic you’d like to discuss?”
Something I’ve noticed over the past couple days browsing here is that anytime someone replies to an older post to continue discussing a particular topic, they get nailed with someone saying something like “don’t necro threads!”
In my opinion, that’s kind of a silly restriction since it makes sense to keep topics about the same thing contained to one or two threads rather than continuously making more and more new threads which get little to no traction. Guess that’s just me tho.
