He gets 2.5x damage against Reins shield when he pummels it. This is a positive change. His pummel should have never ignored barriers.

It’s bad news for Ram, and it’s weird having a melee attack now blocked by barriers, but I won’t mind as long as they follow it up with changes to other tanks that soften their match ups. Speaking of which, wasn’t D.Va meant to be getting some extra beam mitigation (as in, more than what’s provided by armour)? When’s that coming?
I have never met a Rein main who doesn’t revel in fighting a Ram. Overcoming that robot with the power of HONOUR AND GLORY? For shame.

Yeah but this community is super biased towards Reinhardt. It’s starting to feel like the devs are caving into this favoritism. Not only is he getting a lot of skins, but they nerfed Kiriko to not counter his ult specifically. What other character has an exception to the rule made for them? I suppose they had the sense to nerf his barrier at least. That was outright ridiculous. Rein mains are also constantly complaining about how bad Rein is. Ram is a Rein counter. Though I didn’t see many rein mains complaining about ramattra

So then Winston should get nerfed and not be able to attack through a Reinhardt. But his dmg doesn’t do anything anyways. No pummel can stay because its never been a problem. You know what is. People who don’t know how to play the game and the character but cry for attention. Pummel hurts but he can still take dmg too. Everyone is scared to fight him is what is being really said because when a tank knows how to tank his tank. Or heres a better idea. Swap if no one else will and attempt to attack the tank heavier
