Tips to get to grandmaster in open queue?

Yes because if you don’t you run the risk of people playing 3 DPS which is almost a guaranteed GG GO NEXT in that mode

or at least that was my experience with it over this past weekend where I climbed from Plat 5 to almost Plat 2 and then back to almost Plat 5 again after getting unlucky with teams that refused to run more than one tank

I’m wondering what I should be doing better here because I feel like I’m doing a good amount of damage so I don’t know do I need to focus on dying less?

Im just reporting players for comin into comp and not knowing how to play their hero or role, tired of it.
Its throwing, feeeding and griefing

You do know that even pro players can have games where they can’t really do anything productive and if you judged them by the scoreboard, it looks like “they don’t know how to play” when that’s clearly not the case…

“Knowing how to play” doesn’t mean “top the scoreboard like a superstar and win” every game, you know.

I’m not anywhere near Master so I can’t really give you too much helpful advice but yeah I find that dying less and knowing when to bail out of a lost team fight is always good advice regardless of rank.

Also it’s good to prioritize attacking the healers and the tanks that have less sustainability, in that order.

So many people go Reinhardt and then start wailing on the vaping hog who is near a Moira healing orb and then wonder why they’re getting shredded and the hog didn’t die, lol

At 6.00 min mark if you would have shattered. You would have got another shatter to rotate.

Everyone always gripes about OQ, but you can only get like 1 rank out of you RQ range.

those are still RQ GM’s you are fighting in mid masters, and you have to be able to win against them.

I played 30 games of oq yesterday not 1 game had 3 dps all 30 of them had min 2 tanks. No one runs dps in oq its poinyless when tanks do as much dps with over twice the health. The main prob is if you start winning you go up against top 500s when your in plat which gets old fast. But thats the match maker issue.

It’s impossible to progress in open queue until then only allow single party queue.
