uhhmm Why the hecc not?
Feels pretty unfair in my opinion. I know visor is a transformation ult but it feels way too strong to not be hackable.

Honestly, if you managed to Hack a visor, you deserve to have it disabled. It’s one of the hardest ults to hack due to how it works.

What do you mean? It makes perfect sense that Sombra can cancel Deadeye by hacking McCree’s eyesight, but can’t cancel Tactical Visor by hacking the technology it uses.

Possibly because Visor used to be significantly worse? Before his damage buff and removed falloff.
It was said cause Visor is a transformation ultimate.
It makes little sense, but probably it is a technical reason → so nothing randomly stops it.
Actually if you think about it, stuns wont cancel initiating ultimate as well, cause it is a transformation ultimate. Stuns did cancel it in the past though (Complete revert), players complained a lot about it

I am honestly not sure if it would be worse if their statement was true or false. Like, both are pretty bad. I am surprised they said anything…
Because game mechanics aren’t designed based on realism. They’re based on sets of rules that are well defined. Hack cancels specific types of abilities, not just things that you’re intuitively think are “hackable” in the real world.

No I’m saying EMP should cancel visor because it feels like it should be cancellable. Visor feels more like a channel ult than transform anyways.
I know, and I’m saying thats exactly how it shouldnt work. Visor isn’t a channeled ult, and therefore shouldn’t cancel it just because you feel like it should.

It has nothing of a channeled ult tho. Channeled ults are something that you do and you can’t do anything about it besides moving the mouse. Visor is a buff that allows you to auto aim a regular action, like shooting.
Also unironically, that aimbot ultimate is not that tough in OW. With the amount of shields and absorption there is, you can many times either protect yourself and your team or kill soldier faster than he can kill 3-4 people.
Well Sombra after all can disable the abilities of a god of death edgy boy where there’s like nothing at all of tecnology 🤷
