the ability Sombra used to have but was taken away for unknown reasons to me. I want it back. I wanna throw knives into people. Give it to us.

Use genji
Hack. It’s inconsistent. Keep EMP and give her throwing knives and more damage. Revert the PTR changes also.
add it as a new ability on the left control button and make it mark the enemy for sombra to see.
That’s a terrible idea. Removing hack removes the main tool of her kit.

What if EMP created a sphere/dome and enemies can’t leave for a certain period of time.
I’m fine with taking away hack. But I’d keep the infinite invis and the infinite trans but revert the speed on invis.
OK well since while she was viable for the first time for 2 weeks everyone hated her and she was killed off and now has a huge amount of bugs, id say give her throwing knives in place of it.
Again, getting rid of Hack would be akin to getting rid of Tracer’s Blink.
My suggestion would be to make her melee attacks throw knives, but I generally think the throwing knives idea is terrible to begin with.
Tracer needs blink, sombra doesn’t need hack. that’s like comparing shadow step and rein shield. Completely different.
It’s a central part of the character’s kit and identity.

Wrong. Hack is not essential to sombra. It’s buggy and the devs don’t care about fixing her.
sombra had it before genji so if anything genji ripped her off.

I agree it’s buggy and Blizzard’s slow response time does make it look like they don’t care, but yes, Hack IS essential to Sombra. She’s a hacker. Hacking is what she does.
And sym has an aim locking beam. That is what everyone associates with her. Things change.
