Really liking her design and abilities, but she almost looks like a dps from her reveal.
Too early to tell still on effectiveness. The devil is in the details. I want to like the character due to theme.
Praise the Sun!
We still don’t have the “hero” trailer .
We saw some abilities, but briefly.
She has only 1 healing turret? If she deploys another one, the previous one disappears? Can she deploy another one? ir is it locked like Torb and you have a cd for destroying it?
She has healing/dmg like Ana? or is it like LW?
Her ult has heals? or only dmg? (probably both)
She has regen passive like most supports?
Dude, I know you excited but let’s wait just some hours, the “hero” trailer probably launches today (wednesday). S6 arrives thrusday.
She looks alright, I’d like to see how she interacts with others, personality wise. And yeah, I also thought she looked like a DPS hero. Opposite of Echo I guess lol. Which then for a fleeting moment I wished that the game wasn’t based on role queue but I’d digress lol
Will streamers and stuff be able to show gameplay and stuff tommorow?
How close before the new season did the nda lossen on lifeweaver?
It seems that content creators can’t “leak” BPs/gameplay anymore, maybe because this time the trailer was very late, considering that this season has a new hero.
So we literally have to either hope and pray blizzard releases details on her abilities tommorow or wait till the exact day of the new season?
It’s good to see a new hero come from South America.
Looks like the hero has many flashing and shining visual effects. The hero is literally promoted with that. Its a little bit worrying as nausea was a big problem back at double shield.
The hero itself looks pretty unspectacular.
Just like Sojourn from Peru.
I was thinking the same thing. I thought at first it was a sojourn skin until the new abilities started popping.
Not a very inspired design, seems like the norm for OW team these days.
I meeaaan last time they gave us a new hero with completely new and original abilities… Lifeweaver was created.
I haven’t played since slightly after Ramattra dropped.
The gun is too big. I can’t take it serious. Reminds me of the anime MMO games where the weapons are twice the size of the heroes.
The appearance and personality of the hero seems a step down from LW so far, but that was probably inevitable as I consider him pretty much the best one they have produced. In terms of abilities, seems like a turret would support a static defence more and those are generally disliked. Other than that I don’t yet feel informed enough to say too much.
I like her design, she looks cool as hell.
i need to know her story before having a real judgement. from the trailers it may seem like a hero who shoots easily against flying heroes and has a destructive ultimate, but it could just be the scenery of the trailer.
- the costume seems forgettable to me, I would have preferred a little extra study in the color scheme.
- the high leap seems to me very functional for a support.
- I love that during her ultimate her hair braid unties and knots back at the end.
- healing turret? interesting new healing technique.
- the weapon… too similar to sojourn / zarya’s. and it does not contribute the fact that it makes it more in common with the concept design of Senna from LoL. I’d like to see small guns as weapons in future, not just rifles or hands.
what I really don’t like is that she seems completely off topic with the season debuting the lore. I would have frankly chosen ramattra to present such an important season for null sector, as well as season 4 made lifeweaver debut on the occasion of pride month and also for thai new year, a really good analogy with the character.
We can judge the design all we want but we won’t know how she plays until we see the ability breakdown and numbers. It all come down to numbers
Design wise she looks almost like Sojourn, so a bit uninspired imo.
Her kit however looks like it could appeal to me. I always wanted another support similar to Ana and it seems she has the same shoot allies to heal mechanic.
I just hope she promotes some social justice issue. We need that.
