I honestly think 50 is just too low. You can literally go heat your food in the microwave or make a coffee by the time Mercy heals a tank to full hp or even a dps getting constant damage taken.
At the very least they should add 60hps when she is Valk mode. (She has that already apparently and it still isn’t enough…) They already nerfed her res heaps and completely changed her ultimate there was no need to nerf her healing output as well…

They did revert it for her ult quite some time ago. I think she needs it baseline back though. Especially with the barrier nerfs and the lower overall sustain against damage.

No. Healing is being toned down bit by bit so lets not make it high again. They just need to nerf damage now and we will be fine.

60 will help her, but not a lot. Her main problem is that she didn’t have a burst healing ability, which is crucial for a main healer these days. 60 will help her top off her teammates faster, but it will not help much to strengthen her position as a main healer.

Please no more support powercreep.

She is really strong.
Her movement and ability to pocket are always overlooked for this trivial 10hps.

We need nerfs, desperately, not buffs. It may have most recently effected the DPS category, but all of the powercreep started with the healers. We need to do everything possible to prevent the cycle from continuing.

It has danger of pushing her back on top of the whole support roster. Even at 50 HPS her overall healing is one of the highest. Meanwhile, it won’t really change her problem with tank healing. She was never good at it.

I have no problems with Mercy being 60 Heals again. My biggest issue is with Pharmacy. Especially on console.
Pharah needs her own sustain that isn’t boosted by a pocket. Shields or Armour. Probably shields so she can take a hit. Hide and sustain herself like that.
Pharah is too weak on her own right now and OP with Mercy.

She might need it with the barrier changes but I’d wait and see first
On the highest health tank on 1 hp its literally a 2 second difference
It already is 60 hps in valk, the fact you couldnt tell shows how little it actually affects in terms of player perception of it

to OP: I dont see her as needing any more healing, personally

Doesn’t her healing scale up the longer she’s on a target?
it is a constant rate as things are now configured

That’s odd considering how much she has in common with the Medic in TF2, you’d think they’d copy that aspect of his medigun.
Also odd that healing is a raw number rather than a percentage that ranges. But then again Tanks would be unkillable.
There have been thousands of changes to Mercy suggested in the forums and elsewhere, and percentage-based healing and ramped up healing have both been mentioned many times
I think she’s fine at 50, but yeah now is the time for nerfs across the roster imo

She already has that btw.

60HP/sec as her base healing would help her a bit, but there are just a number of other issues with her that would still make her a bit cumbersome and/or niche to use in comparison with other true main healers.
Personally I’d rather see resurrect be replaced with a standard ability that’s more fitting, not an ability that’s difficult/niche to execute with a 30 second cooldown (longest in the game by far). Valkyrie could also be slightly shortened, chain beams nerfed in favor of a more potent primary target beam (brings back decision making, makes Valkyrie feel a bit less braindead, increases skill ceiling and brings back further potential to make a somewhat noticeable game changing play).
Will we ever see further improvements made to Mercy? Probably not for a very long time, at least not while OWL is the main priority and the opinions of pros are heavily weighed on more than community feedback (which let’s face it, appears to be being acknowledged very rarely if at all these days). Still, it doesn’t hurt to keep persisting with feedback on Mercy, in hope one day they may actually address it and not ignore it.
She was reworked on the main premise that her ultimate ability was disheartening (unfun) to play against, but when it came to Mercy feedback saying how she’s a bit disheartening/awkward to play as… the unread megathreads main response (merged in) was that Mercy’s pick rate and win rate are fine. Neither of these statistics were used as a premise to rework her, so why are they only thing that matters when those who play as Mercy complain about her current state?

I mean they could do that… but it won’t really help her real issues.
Her biggest problem is that she has nothing to fall back on if her heal beam isn’t enough. Because her heal beam is (nearly) perfectly consistent, if it was powerful enough to always be enough it would be incredibly broken. The fact that it can be overwhelmed is good, but Mercy should NOT be helpless when that happens. She currently is though.
Also… no, Resurrect and Valkyrie do not count for this. Resurrect has too long of a cast time to be adequate for responding to when Mercy’s healing isn’t enough and Valkyrie is not a big enough boost to her single target healing to function as this either.

No, 60 HPS was overpowered, 50 HPS is fine now. She does not need more healing power.
