I’m asking what your stance is on 2-2-2 Role Queue, I want to compare statistics and see what the general opinion is of those on this forum. I’m eager to see what the forum has to say about 2-2-2.
My thought is that the match maker is craptastic.
222 will only reach its full potential once the match maker is fixed! 
My thinking is whoever like the new on has better that avergae (gold) SR. Better than average SR would get easier than average game from bad match maker.

I can’t help but feel that the downgraded and more strained matchmaker was the leading cause they shut down 2/3 South American servers, so I hate it even more than when it was on PTR.

I love the role que, i wish it would hurry up and sort out the window lickers so i stop hemmoraging sr due to throwers and people who feed constantly.

honestly i see it as a dev failure and since we were too deep in, they had to do this to salvage a game they both made and are slowly killing

It’s infinitely better. All my games have felt good and fair, even the ones I’ve lost.

I like it. I will miss being able to solo heal but at least I no longer will solo tank.

In theory, 2-2-2 is a great idea, but the benefits don’t outweigh the costs. I liked Goats, and other people liked Goats. Quad DPS games where I solo healed have been the most fun I have ever had in this game. Overwatch is a game about creativity, and role queue limits this. Role lock should be in the Overwatch League, but not in comp.

2/2/2 is good, but the main issue so far isn’t the new system itself, it’s the people. When people quit trying to force the system to fail and actually try to play the game, then it will get better.

Too many throwers now. Not sure why there’s a rise in throwers when you can play what you want now, but here we are.
“2/2/2 GOT RID OF MY CREATIVITY, SO I’M GOING TO THROW! DON’T BLAME ME, BLAME BLIZZARD FOR FORCING THIS CRAP ON US!”
That might have something to do with it.

This^^^ waiting for a good solid chunk of permabans so i can tank my way up to gold and then diamond finally.
I played 10 games today for the first time since we got the role queue. I have to say, It’s been an absolute pleasure. My friend and I were trying to see which role is easiest to twin queue in and Double tank duo was instant queue for us, double healer and double dps were 4 to 6 minutes. But the quality of matches is INCREDIBLY improved.

I don’t think they’re actually throwing, for instance today I had a Horizon lunar colony game in which i played support and my friend was playing dps. And our Sigma was doing really basic mistakes, his positioning was awful and he really didn’t utilize any of his abilities, it was weird i wanted to report him for intentionally throwing but then i checked his profile and he literally had around 800 hours on mercy followed by brig on about 100 hours and none for tanks except d.va.
The point is you’ll be getting these matches until people fall down in sr to where they belong on roles they don’t play. It’s not actually ‘throwing’. It’s limited game sense.

Waiting for Blizz to give harsher punishments to people who throw.
Also, remove golden guns from comp and then maybe we’ll have people in there who play competitive because they like competitive and aren’t there just because “I just want my GGs”
Put the QP points or something in QP and let them ‘earn’ them there. Whatever.
Either that or give us guilds so we can form groups with like-minded individuals. I’m tired of this “don’t care” mentality in comp already.
When 222 was announced anti 222 players said they’d throw games to revolt against. It possible those are the people you are meeting.

Compared to forced static 5 DPS?
I’d say 2-2-2 is in another league compared to what we had, it’s been a long time since I actually enjoyed playing.
