Thought I sucked til I changed a setting

So I thought I was terrible at aiming in this game, and I didn’t understand how other people did it. Was hardstuck gold at dps. I felt like enemies were teleporting all over the screen when they moved side to side and that I never knew where my aimer would end up when I flicked it, or if I was lagging or what.

Turns out, originally with the AMD driver I was using, it was outdated or something, so I turned on vsync. However, vsync has an issue where it will cut information out or smooth the image or something, but it’s baloney that made me 5x worse. Turned that off, now I can hit shots. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Make sure to turn OFF High precision mouse input (yeah, it doesn’t actually do what the name suggests, under gameplay settings) as well, I didn’t realize I couldn’t aim all this time because of that setting too, it even made melee and ability aiming worse for me. It’s because it was creating more cpu lag for me, and I thought OW was just naturally that laggy (my character would never be casting the ability I saw or aiming at the same place in replay that I was on my monitor, so even just where my character would be looking or blocking with a shield would be a lie)
