So I played Overwatch, closed it, then when I launched it again, it says “Connecting to server” then “Entering game” but it doesn’t enter it at all. It just logs out in Overwatch launcher.
This is weird because I logged into my main account and it launches fine… I even used a different PC to log into the broken account with a different IP and it still had same issue. I also asked my friend to log into it using their PC and they had the same issue with it. I tried all the regions (EU/NA/Asia) but still the same thing happens.
I am not banned on the account and never got restricted or anything… I checked my email and have got no message about a suspension or anything else… I waited 6 hours and the issue is still ongoing.
I googled everywhere and can’t seem to find anyone with this issue before.
Seems to be an account specific problem because no matter what I tried, nothing worked… I’ve had this account since 2017 and never had this happen before.
I contacted Blizzard support but they just told me basic solutions like restarting the internet and disabling firewall but as I said, I already tried logging in using different machines and networks. Anyone know how to fix this?
Update: I linked my Steam to the account and launched Overwatch from Steam to see if it works but the same issue happens however this time it just loops trying to connect every time.
Hi, try with a new account if you can i’ll guarantee you that it’ll work. The issue is on their end but they are incapable of solving the issue. I’ve been talking to support for 5 days and they can’t do anything. They say the issue is on my end (blablabla,pc,router,internet) but with a new account it works perfectly fine.
I bought the first Overwatch and i can’t even play on the account i bought that damn game…
Yeah I have the same exact issue as you. Logging into other accounts work fine except this one… I tried launching it from a different PC + internet but the same issue happens on this account alone. I asked my friends who live in another country to log into my account and the exact same thing happened to them… its just this account so I’m not sure what more to try. I changed email, password, SMS but no luck.
I contacted blizzard support like 10 times and all of them tell me its an internet issue like I’m not sure what to do anymore so I just gave up on it.
I’ve also been having a similar problem, except in my case it says I’m banned, though after speaking to support I was never banned in the first place and it’s just a “connection issue on my side”. Hopefully they get this resolved soon, because this is clearly a problem. (And obviously this issue only occurred the day after I spent 50 bucks on skins lmao)
I’vre had the same thing happen to me, says im banned on the battlenet launcher but my account is active in settings. I have had this nonsense reponse:

Looking into this we’re unable to find record of a current penalty or restriction on this account.
This situation has been reported by other players as well and is currently under investigation.
Until that investigation is complete, I’m afraid we can neither confirm or overturn the restriction.
Rest assured, should we find that the restriction has been put in place incorrectly, we will overturn it as soon as possible.
