I swear to god, I am BEGGING trash players in Bronze to group up. I just can’t believe my eyes, it’s like someone took a belt sander to their brains. People are scattered all over the place playing their own games, refusing to coordinate at all. I’m trapped in Bronze hell.

What rank were you before?
Bounced a lot between Gold and Platinum. I mean, I’m no pro player by any stretch but my god. No matter how many times I ping, ask in chat, or just try to stick with one other person at a minimum NO ONE groups up.

Best you can do is hard carry or group with people who think and want to play the game like a proper team game. With the lower end players you can’t make them do squat sadly. lol
I can’t help but think of all the people that have been demanding a tank reset for lord knows how long….

I’m just DESTROYING them lol. I don’t think I’ve had under 3:1 kdr, when not just messing around
That is my everyday experience.
Nothing worse to see my dps tanks and even healers run one by one in the ennemy team and die.
If it was not for my BP I would leave the game for 2 weeks the time that new players learn how to play a bit

I have this problem nearly every game. Teammates just do not cooperate and have no idea how to work as a team. Unless you are a tank and carrying hard it feels so futile to rank up.
I find going on mic helps, people seem to actually listen to you then, but people on mic tend to be so toxic that I get anxious about talking on mic especially when I dont have friends to group with.

The thing is, 5v5 is SO much easier to carry, lol.
Just play Pharah and enjoy your free wins until you get to a rank where players can actually aim

It’s remarkable in 2022, that I saw silver border players still unable to follow the tank at all around… remarkable.
Three thoughts apply here:

half the population of the world is below median intelligence

you cannot reason with a fourteen year old half-savage
-
many cannot handle any expectations put upon them
This explains a lot of what you see in the world, and by extension, Overwatch.

Bronze players don’t like being told what to do. Glue yourself to the supports. They’ll appreciate it.
This. I’ve legit had people just straight up say “No” to me when I try to come up with a plan/ask people to stick together.

Unfortunately, unless you play tank, there really is no hard carrying, outside of insta gib widow or hanzo.

I see DPSers carry all the time with various heroes. You might not win if somebody else on your team is hard throwing, but that doesn’t mean there’s no carrying.
