Reaper still pubstomps anybody below diamond. But maybe he has some use in a coordinated team?..
Tanks feels… slightly more squishy? Not nearly as bad as I thought. Except maybe on Orisa - I haven’t played her yet.
The new delay takes time to get used to, but D.Va is still amazing.
Brig still feels okay.
The hitscans feel better than before.
People are finally beginning to figure out how to counter nanoblade.
Good tracers are making a bit of a return. Average tracers are still terrible. People have forgotten how to deal with Tracers.
Well, at least the game is moving in a good direction.
Doomfist, Bastion, Torb, S76, Junkrat and Symm probably still need some buffs. Orisa, Moira, Mercy, Mei and Roadhog could also use minor buffs.
Genji, Widow, Hanzo, Ashe have taken the top dps spots. Tracer and Mccree are slightly less prevalent.
I don’t think these heroes needs nerfs. Maybe Genji could lose the speed bonus during dragonblade… just to stop bad Genjis from spamming nanoblade to win.
We can likely expect more nerfs around the corner.
Yeah, I really thought it would be worse. I haven’t even noticed a difference tbh, but yeah, I mostly play Mystery Heroes and there tank and support heavy comps still roll over everything just as easily.
I would say it feels pretty good as a tank main. But im gonna miss crushing all the dps. I get melted more often by mccree and reaper then i used too. I still feel like Dva needs more nerfs. Maybe bring back her vulnerability to her ult?
They aren’t NEARLY as bad as most people think. For example, I have a Bastion/Symm/Torb/Mei account at 3800SR right now.
Bastion is just very one-dimensional. You’re either a 450 dps death machine or they take away your positioning/jump on you and you die. I can see him being a very powerful situational hero if they just decrease setup time by ~0.4 seconds and sentry time by ~0.2 seconds. And bring back some armor for tank mode.
Symm literally just needs her teleporter to deploy ~0.5 - 0.7 seconds faster and 1m extra range on her primary.
Mei can situationally good for certain maps. Let her cryofreeze restore her ammo, and increase the projectile speed on freeze by a bit.
Not sure what S76, Junkrat or Torb needs.
Mercy also isn’t too bad. She just has very little “carry potential.” Her healing is also pretty mediocre for a “main heal”, but her damage boost can quickly build her team’s ults very quickly (esp. powerful ones like Grav/shatter/dragonblade). Her damage boost also allows Ashe to one-shot 200hp heroes. Giving her 55 hps would probably fix her.
Valk really isn’t garbage. You use it to engage a fight, you don’t really use it reactively. It’s no transcendence or dragonblade, but it’s still better than most ults like tac visor or deathblossom.
Maybe cleanse would work if it was a 2 second anti-stun/anti-nade/anti-boop ability. But it would probably be too OP with abilities like dragonblade or doomfist or tracer or dive, since CC is the primary way to counter those abilities. You could impose something like a range limit of course, but mercy has enough mobility to just follow them.
I’m sure the devs don’t really want to deal with another 6 months of moth meta.
lol it is sad right? Mercys potential in many peoples eyes is to stand still and hold left click/right click. She had great potential, it was taken away in Mercy 2.0. A character should be allowed a battle swinging opponnent, everyone else has one. While Mercy has a skill that doesnt not even deserve to be called an ult.
