This macro is it considered as CHEATING? please dev response

First thanks to the dev for your recent work for polishing this game
for me Ow has reach a peak of quality
replay forge 222 new anti cheat and the best : better balance

Honestly if this is this "the worst days of ow " I want those days to stay forever I dont care about more content If you give us a better core gameplay

now I want to use your new incredible feature : voice system on ptr
I have a problem and the solution but I am not sure if it s considered as cheating

the problem : when I want to say " help" bivously I am in the middle of the fight reaper is destroying me
so I cant activate my wheel and then choose help of use another button which is another side of my keyboard

the main problem is this take time and I cant stay with out doing anything or my heroes will die even I do it in one second

here s my solution and my question:

I can use a voice command to activate macro
so ingame with my mic I will say" help" the sofwate will recognize the word " help" activate the key which is my “help” button so my heroes will say help

it s so fun and immersive and more fluid so as rein I will stay with my shield up trying to survive against this reaper

but I dont know since my voice will activate a macro is it s considered as cheating

because Honestly I think this is the best way to use your new system

You can map voicelines to a single key instead of using the wheel

yeah but in ow there is already a lot of keys used in ow
so the new key will need my hand off my regular button so it s a problem for me

because it takes time and my heroes will stay frozen

awesome right?

But I am afraid of beeing banned for cheating since a software will activate a key
I want a dev response If I am allowed to use this system

it s not just for the ’ help " button I will use it for every voice because it s more immersive and more easy to use " regroup" " let s go" “attack”

I really think this will improve my ow imersion a lot

First rule of reporting cheats…DON’T POST IT ON THE FORUMS!

Second rule of reporting cheats…revert back to the first rule!

For future reference, if you’re not sure something is cheating or not, put in a BlizzCS ticket and they’ll help you out.

As far as macros in-game…while I can’t imagine Blizzard (and their Warden anti-cheat system) would label all macros as cheating (considering World of Warcraft raiding pretty much requires macros or some type of outside tech like Discord or Teamspeak), I also recognize this is Overwatch and not World of Warcraft. But again, drop a ticket to BlizzCS and they’ll let you know whether to cease your experiments or if you’re in the clear.

it s not really a report of cheat so I dont think I break the first rule at all
I post it on the forum since I also want your your review on this voice recognition system with in game voice communication

You know you can simply bind some communications to the keys of your keyboard…?

I already responded to that I dont enought key left next to my left hand
so the new key will force my hand off wasd keys
