This is why I never try or play hitscans

9C90N1 of course was qp. as you can see I didn’t hit a single thing, the whole experience was just frustrating and nothing more. So ye I hope than when I see a Pharah the other dps can deal with it.

not that i did it on purpose ofc

Takes practice. Luckily, blizz has done a great job of making different hs heroes in different roles to help build on those skills.

I am a mccree fanboy because i love old school westerns but my aims boo boo and i heart support. So i play bap, ana, illy, and zen(not a hs)

Over time my mccree play gets a little better. Not much my aims still boo boo but i have fun. I love seeing pharas if she beats me she beats. Thats the game. But if i make her switch. Man the feels.

I don’t know why people beat themselves up so hard about their hitscan performance.

I think projectiles are generally harder to land than hitscan because there’s a whole other dynamic in play you have to deal with travel time and the fact the enemy can actively dodge your attacks-

You’ve just been telling yourself projectiles aren’t as difficult and so you don’t let your projectile misses bother you so much and make you tilt.

The trick is to do the same for when you’re playing Hitscan. I like to focus on the number of shots to kill- it doesn’t matter how many shots I miss if I just land the 2-4 shots it takes to deal 250+ damage with Cass.

Projectile are harder to land but they have more powerful abilities. So most proj players relying more on abilities than their primary fire compared to hitscan counterparts.

nah did 4 games did garbage all the games.

because two cancers called pharah and echo, wich can only be countered by hitscans.

dude I play venture and reaper and torb, said enough, also projectiles are way easier to land, ofc not on flying heroes.

ps I will never play cass, I just tried ashe, i hate cass.

One time a friend just helped me practice McCree vs Pharah matchup in 1v1 for half an hour and then something clicked. So i think it’s the best practice if you can find someone to help you.

Yeah, if she beats you on Cass that sounds fair. Now tell me how a sym player should love facing a Pharah

Why listen to people trying to get a rise out of you? Also: practice is better than whining on the forums about how bad and unfair it is to play a hitscan. There are tons of aim trainer custom modes, vs ai mode, quick play. It does take time but so does every single thing anybody does ever. Trust in yourself, I believe in you

this is exactly where I played and where I was insulted, so no thanks.

true but on venture at least I had a good starting point, here I can’t hit a thing.

I find it very interesting.

I always hear this in this forum, while most noobs in low/mid tiers feel projectiles much more comfortable and avoid hitscans.

Gotta say that once I had a ‘‘complain’’ from a person who was spectating me , he told I play projectiles (torb junk as hitscans and viceversa

I think it’s just easier for some people to ignore that their projectile also missed, or just hitting the splash damage is enough to maintain their confidence; even though a whiffed bullet and splash damage from Rat/Pharah are often about equal in value.

Also, it seems people find precision aiming the most difficult even though all the bullet size is much bigger overall since S9(hitscans from pinpoint to a volleyball, projectiles from a basketball to a gymball), and simple prediction not as much.(Just slightly more in the direction where the target moves)

The problem is there is often unpredictable situations but you can just spam in this case. Bigger bullet and larger mag often gives you better result than hitscans.

this tell you how bad I am with them XD

You won’t improve in 4 games on hitscan give it a month and watch pharahs legs while shooting not aim at legs but watch her legs, easier to read.

not sure if I got this… can’t tell if is a joke or a real advise o.O today my sarcasm detection fail a lot.

ok? Keep going! Keep trying! Turn off chat and don’t join VC, just so your best. I literally hate shooting anything in this game bc I, like you, couldn’t hit anything. Get some friends to tag along, fiddle with your character settings (this is huge)

It’s is true , it helps you to read her movement as she is not just moving sideways but her upperbody tilts forward and backward.

It helped me even with hanzo so with hitscan it will be easier.

Some good advice from arrge

Never ever improve on Cassidy didn’t keep on playing him no matter the situation. Gotta force the hero in any situation if you want to seriously improve on that hero.
