Thatâs 100% what will happen. OW players are an addicted and delusional bunch, and Blizzard needs to feed players into their PVP, so theyâll just accept that happening. I cannot stress this enough-
There are infinitely better games out there with better PVE, better balance, and better devs.
Itâs just that the OW crowd has wholly forgotten that other games exist.
I havenât forgotten, I came to Overwatch as a PvE specialist. I took time off of Overwatch 5 months after OW launched so I could spend like 6 months focusing on a PvE game. The problem is, and I canât stress this enough, that those other games donât have Ana. Ana is the light of my life. She alone makes Overwatch worth it to me. If she didnât exist, I would spend like 75% less time on Overwatch.
I get this as a Rein OTP, but as far as PVP is concerned the game has shifted into a direction where he is wholly unplayable, and I expect him to be worse in the sequel. The same could happen to your âchosen heroâ but at that point the PVE will exist and hopefully be fully accessible every day so it wonât matter.
But Iâve been leaving OW since there is currently no PVE and most of the heroes I like (Rein, Lucio, Winston) feel wholly unplayable ATM and moving forward with PVP.
Unfortunately, you need your screen to not be broken by a bucket in order to see the game (which you need to be able to do in order to play it)

Well, I guess they technically werenât lying⊠It wasnât 90% recolours. It was 100% recolours! 
ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ It is what it is, I suppose. Iâm still hopeful that with Volume 2 and 3 weâll get original silhouette skins, rather than just recolors, but Iâm also fine with these recolors.
Do I prefer recolors? Absolutely not. But itâs better than what we had with the previous event âHereâs 2 Legendaries thatâs it, byeâ.
And if it helps get OW2 out faster, as predicted to be August, then Iâm fine with it.
Itâs the same thing. PvE is its own thing.

the 5v5 thing theyre pushing is just overwatch that theyve been keeping from us for the past 2 years.
trying to think that blizzard is somehow giving us âoverwatch 2â with this 5v5 balance patch is a joke⊠theyre giving us heroes, maps, a new mode, new cosmetics, new balance⊠thats exactly what overwatch was 2016-April 2020.
And yet pellets continuously do not register or register unnecessarily.
So why most of players that are still playing the game right now have smurfs? Maybe because the game made every player that really wants to play a good game just lose their hope? Iâm sorry, but this is what happens with every game that start dying ,people are going to do everything they can to still have fun with this game
I see OW2 as a recoloured OW1.
having fun with the game does not = ruining the experience for othersâŠthat is a toxic way to deal with the lack of new. no matter how many EXCUSES you use, making a smurf account is downright toxic and should be dealt with.
You see the big issue I have is Blizz seemingly playing both sides. They want to fast-track OW2 without giving OW1 zero content.
So they go halfway and give OW1 bad content, then only slightly increase the dev speed of OW2. Pick a side Blizzard, either give us nothing and get OW2 out as fast as possible, or give us more OW1 content and delay OW2 more.
Now i have to agree with you, smurfs ruins the experience of other players, but iâm not gonna try to change the ideals of the players. I donât know what is the region that you play, but in my region i even say that the game would not even find a match if we didnât have smurfs, because most of people is smurfing now. GMs smurfing at plat and plat smurfing at silver
i do not want to change the ideals of any individual i simply request they be removed entirely with no mercy if these are the ideals that they support. we (gamers) do not need that kind of people in the community and removing them can only bring positives. although i understand blizz doesnt care to (its really the same thing as xim 4 users on console level of frustrating )
