While I do agree Mc Cree needs some love from the devs I totally disagree on Ashe replacing mc cree. Mc Cree still has the best tool to deal with dive and flankers for his team, while ashe only saves her skin.

No, McCree has FTH and similar damage numbers.
Flash is also an amazing ability
They fulfill two different roles on a team lineup but fill the same position. If they are properly balanced Ashe will be better maps where she can juggle between highgrounds.
McCree will excel on smaller maps where highground isn’t as important.
Well, Ashe does have what is probably the longest reload in game. So, that’s something, right?

What McCree should get:
- 30% ultimate refund for manually canceling ultimate without firing
- immunity to bullets and projectiles during his rolling animation, but not explosions, melees, lasers, etc.

I never said it was a total counter, I just mentionned he has the best tool.

Huh? I did not read below to see if anyone else corrected you, but because you instantly triggered me… Brigitte has the best anti-dive tools which is why she more or less counters dive as a composition. McCree can only stop one person from diving him and just in case you were not aware, dives are not solo tasks and his lack of mobility makes him more susceptible to dives than virtually any character in the game barring Zenyatta. So much about this is just wrong. He loses match-ups to all flankers outside of Sombra (he has no kit) and Reaper (because he is about the only DPS that is genuinely worse than McCree). Like, if he stuns someone for .7 seconds, that is not going to do much compared to Brigitte’s one-second stun, CC, and survivability to continue addressing the problem. McCree is one and done. He is good for surprising flankers on supports and preventing EMP from Sombra. That is about it.

I’m pretty sure we’re comparing Ashe and Mc Cree here. The only thing I mentionned is that his tool is more effective to deal with flankers/dive than Ashe’s because it doesn’t only save his skin like Ashe, he actually provides cc (the forbidden word) for his team to deal with flankers/dive
Ashe got no burst without losing almost 100hp herself so in close quarters mccree got the upper hand
Like I said the reason why Ashe is better than mcgree is that she is built to counter characters like briggitte and if your asking to nerf Ashe first blizzard must nerf briggitte than you nerf Ashe.
