Thanks for Role Queue. Thanks for all the seasonal events. Thanks for Jeff, Geoff and Aaron, for keeping Overwatch alive.
Thanks for all the devs that work hard and with passion on this game, and who deserve so much more than they are getting.
Thanks for the music, that elevates this game beyond anything it could be without.
Thanks for King’s Row, thanks for Eichenwalde, thanks for Hanamura, thanks for Dorado, thanks for Lijang Tower.
Thanks for all the emotes, thanks for all the voicelines that make us laugh (or getting us annoyed).

It was a hell of a game… For a time. Not sure if I want to achieve Moksha or continue in Samsara.

I love this game, and this community. Here’s to another 6 years. :pray:

It was a fun ride for a couple of years or so and had its potential. But it was killed off way before Overwatch 2 was even announced. Greed is a corruption that seeps out of ActivisionBlizzard, destroying everything in its path.

I am sure Aaron did the best he could since he pretty much became the lead randomly in the middle of the product.

We would still be waiting for ow2 if they haven’t divided the pvp from the pve

Sad day. Deleting the superior game to try and force people onto their terrible F2P clone.

Their balance changes and 5v5 stripped the uniqueness of OW1 out of 2, battle passes are terrible, and 8 months or $20 to unlock a skin is a joke.

OW2 deserves to flop but like Diablo Immortal the Blizzard paypigs will ensure it makes money even when the player numbers drop.

I’ll uninstall and play through my backlog instead of giving any time or money to this greedy and soulless incarnation of Blizzard. Hopefully when Microsoft takes over they’ll clear house.

I appreciated the beyblade with ana+reaper combo. thanks for that. Pity people cried so much that lasted few weeks.

Thanks for sombra, best hero ever. Pity people cried so much because it was to hard to use primary fire to interrupt her hack, let’s see if she will be viable in ow2.

Tomorrow’s the last day of Overwatch here, I think. Due to shut down at 5pm UK time. But yes, tonight’s my last night playing the game I’ve put nearly 2,700 hours into since 2016.

I’ve prepared by changing my player icon and all sprays to Season 1 Competitor, so at least people in OW2 will know I’m an OG. :wink:
