I have been doing it more often. I do not even enjoy Hog THAT much anymore, so I had a counter swap war… In QP. The poor guy just gave up on Orisa and let my melt him as Zarya. I felt kind of bad, but like, I hate tank right now.

You realise what happened in this video happens in most games at all levels… its not a “Flats” thing.
Relatable, always been my favourite role now its just a horrendous experience.

Am I the only one that feels like making this game 5v5 made it feel more “rock-paper-scissor-y” like what happened in the video? Makes tanking very unfun.
Basically cranked up the hard counters to a million.

In OW1 if the enemy had Hog and your team had Winston/Ball, you could proctect him with Zarya and bubble Hog’s hooks.
Now in OW2 if they play Hog then both animals are off the table. Not to mention Orisa’s rework also hard counters them, too.

Its an issue with all tanks now not just Hog unfortunately.
I know I’m just using Hog as an example as he seems like the most obvious one, and also why I mentioned Orisa.
Argh thats fair! Tbh i dont know how they can improve it without going 6v6 again. Tanks need to either been super good but theyll still counter each other at least or they say as they are countered by everyone.
I think going back to 6v6 IS the only way to fix this clown-fest extreme hard countering, also they would have to HEAVILY tweak most of the tank roster, as their current state doesn’t really translate good in a 6v6 setting.

I dont think theyd have to tweak that much, just reduce numbers really and see hpw it plays out. At this rate theyre gonna let tanks suffer wait until que times get too bad then remove tanks all together.

With the new OW2 tanks, Ram and Mauga would be completely busted in 6v6, I think JQ would be fine.
Orsia would be broken.
Ball and Winston would be fine.
Rein might be a problem, either being really bad or really good.
Dva I think is fine.
Doom has a chance of being broken unless he’s reverted back to DPS.
Zarya could be broken.
I really don’t know about Sigma, I’m leaning more towards potentially being broken.
Hog could be a huge problem with his rework too.
I’m saying all of this if they decided to change the game back to 6v6 this very instant, without majorly tweaking tanks.
It’s like we’re playing Pokémon.

Karq is a great player but he can’t carry tanks to top 50 
you have to be actually really good at the game to be top 50, you get full pro lobbies at that elo.
Update: He got top 30. “Flats is boosted and doesnt deserve t500” crowd looking really stupid now

One of the best tank players in the world ladies and gentlemen. This is literally the peak of OW tanking skill.
Whilst it isn’t focused on, I do want to appreciate how damn good he is as pretty much everything happening in the background. Literally everyone in this thread would be slaughtered
