Tanks are still the weakest role. The issue with Tank is that it’s not about your own skill as a player, it’s about how well your team capitalizes on the opportunities you make and how your Tank matches up against the enemy one.
Tank is a counterpicking role that can’t do anything on its own. DPS can get solo kills and carry games that way. Supports can keep everyone up and do really good damage to help win. Tanks can create space and hope to god that SOMEONE does something with it, all while playing the counterpicking game with the other Tank.

The amount of DPS diff I see as a support main is insane. Never switching, never hitting what they’re shooting at.
This season i’ve played with/ against so many good Doomfists, more than any other season. From the nerfing of other tanks making him have time to shine. The true Doom enthusiasts putting in the time to get good at him. If Sombra didn’t exist…
Dooms skill ceiling is one of the highest of the tanks. The CC, boop potential is broken. Once you master the hero he’s one of the scariest tanks. Scarier than Winston, that’s for sure. Winston feels way more balanced to play against.
I feel like more games come down to a difference in Supports over Tanks tbh
Even if you’re the better Tank player, supports can make up for that
It can come down to that, but there’s no carrying a bad tank. Carrying a bad support happens all the time.
I suppose I can agree to an extent, though at the same time I feel like I’ve carried bad tanks while playing Support because I made up the difference.
How can you not? Doomfist is by far the most broken tank in the entire game.
Any role can be diffed tank is just the easiest to see because they cant state pad like dps or support
