This game was DESIGNED to be anti role queue

All you guys did was force a terrible meta with even less options to deal with it. Just when I think this game can’t get worse, it does. Never seen a dev team listen to so much whining and make decisions based on that without any foresight of what will actually happen in game.

They most likely had data that 75% of the player base played DPS and this was their way to deal with it. Face it, most players are not team oriented and treat the game like COD. Sad as it’s a good game. Most young people and some older are just not in a teachable state. They don’t want to learn, let alone learn from their mistakes. Everyone is a special snowflake that will save the day single-handedly. Thus is the life of the average player.

You clearly fail to realise that the forums comprise a very, very small minority of the total player base.

There is no way that Blizzard made the decision to implement role queue based solely off the forums, or that they made said decision without any foresight.

To believe otherwise is sheer folly.

all the 2-2-2 lock does is prevent metas that are based on stacking one trait, like sustain, like goats

  2. any gaming company with a brain when seeing that ‘‘75% of their player base’’ is playing one role when you need 3 per game would think to themselves: hm, this is a problem, why are people playing these roles less and what can we do to stimulate their gameplay? What are the complaints from the players that play the unpopular roles and what can we do with them? Instead of LUL role lock boiiiz, ez.

The game doesnt offer learning. The tutorial is a joke, and other than going out of your way to seek out streamers and analysts theres little way to actually learn the game and how its meant to be played. You cant really fault the players that Blizz still cant figure out how to either offer proper learning tools or make the games in a way so it exploits the players natural tendencies in games so theres a more natural overlap.

Idk why are people making these comments. Jeff has made the statement that the game is balanced and designed around hero swapping and creative comps, to suit the map areas and respond to enemy comps. The game has been designed and balanced around open team comps for 3 years, jeff himself was against forced 2-2-2 until the last few months before it was implemented.

It clearly was not designed or balanced around forced 2-2-2. Its really not a revolutionary statement.
