You want to know why this game is so toxic??? You have made the ultimate frustration simulator. When every match is just SO ONE SIDED, it’s beyond frustrating. I’m tired of only having one tank. I’m tired of the tank roll being so over powered. I’m tired of so many hard counters that force you to swap or just get stomped. But More than anything, I’m ABSOLUTELY TIRED OF THE TERRIBLE QUALITY OF MATCHES. I would gladly wait a few minutes longer, so I’m not wasting my time getting stomped or stomping in a completely unbalanced match.

Based on 7 years of foruming, I would say it’s always been this frustrating to play seeing as how we’ve had the same complaints for at least 7 years now

This is every multiplayer game and there is no other solution to it other than accepting that people are better than you and every game is a gamble.
Be a man and place it all on red whenever you’re in Vegas next time.

Yeah so the penalty rules they introduced definitely lowered the quality of the matches, because people do not like being stomped, so they leave. Now they can’t leave these awefully matchmaker shlop we get forced down our throats, so people either completely quit (lowering the amount of good players in the pool) or throw (lowering the match quality even more).
Why reward the game and punish yourself by continuing to play?

I swear, I dont know if Teamfour tweaked how matchmaking works between ow1-2 or if it really is a 5v5 problem but this game has never felt so onesided at times. One sided matches happened in OW1 ofc but NOT AS BAD AS IT IS NOW. thats one of my biggest gripes. getting tossed in a game against the A-team and we just get steamrolled until were playing basketball in spawn.
And Im not allowed to leave such a game because Devs chained you into the game. im just playing to give the enemy team fun, at the cost of my sanity

But I don’t understand. Since they added leaver penalty a lot less people are leaving games. This must mean they are having more fun. Right? RIGHT?
5-10 out of 100 games are only equall and close.
The OWL Level quickplay games dont help.
Yes, the matchmaking has never been worse. I just got into a game as support which I am gold 4 ranked, other team had a Cassidy who was ranked diamond 3 in damage and it showed. Completely one sided match. Their tank was also on a smurf account and the Cass had a pocket mercy who must have been around the same rank, just insanely good gameplay.
Really fun getting completely stomped while they teabag and talk crap in chat, I definitely didn’t close the game after that and continued to have fun in the next game!
I’ve been playing since beta, its definitely worse. If you want to keep your head in the sand that’s on you.

So you are saying that the matchmaker is doing a great job creating balanced teams?
Only 2 possibilities come to mind – not enough players playing competitive, or just not enough players, period. I posted this idea in another thread, but I think there are more bad players now than ever before, and it’s hell trying to distribute bad players among the few decent players in the game. Someone suggested it’s school break somewhere in the world.
TLDR: bad games are here to stay.
The terrible quality of matches is due to the fact that more than one person is using wallhacks, toggle aimbots, and no recoil and dodge scripts.
Wake up guys. The reason this game feels so unbelievably off lately is due to the influx of cheaters that have stormed the game.
