Every match I play, I witness more and more of how this game fails in terms of mechanics. So many things happen that are not supposed to happen.
I got one shot (200 hp) by one Soldier’s Helix Rockets. Sure I had Zen’s Discord Orb, but they deal 120 damage, plus 50% makes it 180 damage.
I got killed by a Tracer that shot me from up front while my Brigitte shield was up. Then I got stunned by a Reinhardt’s Earthshatter that hit me from up front while my shield was up as well.
This is just in one match. EVERY SINGLE MATCH there’s sh*t like this. I’m seriously thinking of streaming to prove it, because everything I reported so far in this forum has been splendidly ignored. The devs are too busy finding new buffs for Hanzo.

Helix Rockets does 200 damage.
First is a maybe bug. Second,Earthshatter goes through shields I think.
you should play roadhog, its like a bethesda game every time you hook

Helix Rockets do 120 direct hit damage. This is because it does 80 splash and 40 direct hit which are added together to make that 120 damage number.
That being said, Hard Bot AIs get a damage increase so a Hard AI Soldier 76 can 1 shot via Helix Rocket.
Oh and Earthshatter does not go through shields, Brigitte’s Barrier center point is what blocks it, any other angle and it goes through the gaps in her shield. You have to crouch to more reliably block it.

Weird things will happen when latency is involved.
Just shrug and move on.
It feels a little worse here because ttk isn’t 0.72 seconds like in battlefield or cod, so you can’t just yell bs at the t.v. and respawn in a moment back in the thick of it.

I agree that latency probably explains the Tracer shooting me through the shield.
But my shield was up way before Reinhardt initiated his ult move. And there was no thing that hit me other than the Soldier’s Helix Rocket. It plainly dealt 200 damage with the discord.
