This game is a simulator of who's turn it is to win/lose

The insane match quality where one game you are unstoppable but the next you cant leave spawn is a pretty big reason of why this game went downhill.

Im in loss queue since day 19, playing the game every day is just seeing the word LOSS on the screen, boring.

Ya that’s what happens if your playing with randoms, and or are just playing casually.

Team builds, maps, counters, synergies.

Play a huge part in how the game is going to rollout.

Which I acknowledge but it still doesnt explain how extremely loose the MM is. Not enough people playing.

This my experience, as well. A couple close games a week, and the rest are steamrolls either winning or losing. I’d rather have longer queue times and better matches.

It’s less to do with the MM, and more to do with the factors I mentioned.

You get a comps that doesn’t synergies and the enemy does, and or has ways to stop your teams plays. And your team is not attempting to get around that in some way.

Goes a long way. Even Just conflicting playstyles I’m very aggressive, and have to like bribe half my team to kill something or not attempt to pull me away.

This is true in comp as well.

It’s was like this, and will continue to be so. (just less noticeable in 6v6 do to tanks giving this safe space to play around that ignores a lot of interactions for bit of time.)

Yes, Casinowatch is a complete slotmachine. They dangle the carrot (desired prestigious rank and wins) infront of your face and artificially prolong the grind by controlled forced loses/wins and bs XP modifiers. EOMM working as intended - the more you grind, the more you play, the more you play the more invested in the game you become and the more shop purchases you make. Nothing personal just business.

Or you know Rank isn’t designed to be linearly climbed, but instead give you games of roughly even skill.

Were you have 50/50 chance of winning, and if you wish to actually climb you have to prove that you are highskill then most everyone in that rank.

Regardless of what rank you think you should be.

5v5 is like that for sure. 6v6 has felt way more dynamic with closer games and swinging fights quite often. 5v5 is just way too snowbally.

Lol, no 6v6 was just good at stalling. Were you really didnt have to engage in 1v1’s or other matchups. As your tanks would general space out any single player from really getting at any other single target.

As your one big team pile, more so then an individual player.

Were once your team got a pick or advantage of any kind things snowball in your favor. Were you are suddenly killing everything, after what was usually some major drawn out battle if you didn’t just ult combo your way through things.

5v5 their is a lot more room for a single/duo/trio to make individual plays, but at the same time you also have to deal with how those characters will match up against the enemy team. Were if your not targeting the right person or going out of your way to synergies or set-up your team. Your going to get slapped back.

5v5 is just hitscan heaven and everyone suffers besides folks that are great at clicking heads.

So currently on overbuff, genji / junkrat / and mei do pop up in the top 10 most played dps at GM in the last 3 months. As a honorable mention reaper is also their as number 4 in top 500, as he really is not really the head shot type.

As for the last month specifically junk has fallen out of favor, be it torb took the number ten slot.

on that note.

The community especially higher ranks still thinks echo, hanzo as really strong picks.

Venture has a lot of maps were their just reaaaaaaaaaallly darn good on. (has the highest win rate because of that fact, just isn’t universal)

Sym also has her first point defense / team tp niche and carries and the second highest winrate for that reason where applicable be it not common.

the only difference being that you have to generally specialize with projectile hero, as aiming with mei is lot different then rat, who is leagues different then aiming with pharah.

While on hit scan your aim skills transfer rather easily.

Also note Sojourn isn’t in the top 10 most played dps (number 11), and sitting at one of the lowest winrates.

I think, if you’re losing for 19 days straight, you’re not in a “loss queue”, you just need to improve. I know that’s a taboo to say on here, “I just need to improve”, but its true.

RQ and 5v5 will cause this problem yea.

Burst damage

Risk reward ratio much better

Actually no most hitscan have to hit their shots or are dead. The projectile heroes have a lot more bail-out tools.

With exception to like tracer, your generally going to have a lot risk dieing or get caught at as like a mei / reaper /or torb, then say the ashe who has like one knock to reposition.

Cope.

Ignore them. Typical “every loss is your fault”, “the matchmaker is perfect”, “stomps are good because you can learn from them” player.
