This forum is a minority opinion

Overwatch 2 is still doing very well. Currently the 14th most played game on Xbox and the games in front of it are all very successful. The way this forum speaks about it you would think OW2 is an actual dead game like Battlefield 2042, XDefiant, Halo Infinite or The Finals.

Cheaterwatch2 is thriving with cheaters. In every single game there are 1-3 masked aimbotters, when they start to lose they make turn on rage hacks.

Yes, cheaterwatch2.

Free game, easy to aimbot, no anticheat system.

Ow2 is funded by WoW it will survive. But also cheaters are big sponsors since blizzard gave up on banning cheaters.

Oh? Lets ask the steam reviews then… or any other social media in fact.

Literally nobody is looking at this game and saying “yeah, this is what successful game looks like”

You mean the people who give it a 0 while still playing the game 12 hours a day? Lol

i dont know if its doing well…but it is very much a minority opinion…probably less than 1% of players come here

what i do know is that the majority of those 1% are here to complain about something…thats what forums are typically used for…so its not just 1%…its also a very biased 1%

why i always say nothing is ever as bad as forums make it seem. if youre only exposure to overwatch was the forums you would think its the worst game ever made

Addiction has nothing to do with product quality.

Right behind Valorant’s closed beta. That’s not good at all…

Ohhhh world of godcraft you are so successful and iconic :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart_hands:

Not to mention consoles are mostly used for singleplayer games that you play once in a while so any multiplayer game will be boosted to the top by default.

How can a terrible game be addicting? I find it easy to walk away from boring trash game titles, but good ones make time fly like nothing else.

People don’t get addicted to games that are bad. You don’t see any XDefiant addicts out there.

This is one of the most out of touch statements I’ve ever seen. This is the kind of thing the ceo of a “AAA” game developer would say to push microtransactions and battle passes. Just as many people play singleplayer games on pc.

19 of the top 20 most played games are multiplayer. There are millions of players who like to play multiplayer games with a controller on a TV while relaxing on a couch. Not everyone likes to be hunched over a desk using a keyboard all day long.

It’s not a dead game, but to a lot of the old playerbase it has died to them. Tbh I had no problem with OW2, I enjoyed it up until season 9. Then they made tanks invincible DPS and DPS more broken than ever. Just not worth playing anymore, so to me, yes the game is dead.

I can count all the live service games on consoles on the fingers of 1 hand.
The choice is like nothing compared to PC.

Because they are MULTIPLAYER. Multiplayer live service games in general require more time investment than a singleplayer game.

You have over 19 fingers on one hand?

Consoles have most of the same games PC has. The only notable ones it doesn’t have are Counter Strike 2, Warcraft and the 2 big MOBAs.

Can’t be more far from the truth unless you think there are only 20 multiplayer live service games on PC.

Consoles have CS:GO, so idk why they don’t have 2.

Is there a giveaway for free battlepasses going on right now?
