I am not even a Mercy player, so when I say, “yeah, you need to put this back, it feels horrible”, that should say something. I don’t care if Mercy is strong or weak, we shouldn’t sacrifice what makes a hero fun to play (within reason). She feels very clunky and unfun to play now (this is subjective, of course, but I seem to be not alone here).
If you were really intent on nerfing Mercy (which personally I didn’t feel like she needed one), there are so many other ways to do it. I get the intent, but touching GA is a big mistake.
Hotfix this ASAP please! Revert the GA cooldown change, and nerf her elsewhere if you feel you must. Again, I disagree she needs nerfs, but anything is better than that.

Don’t touch GA. Scale up her hitbox by 10-12%. Then compensate with buffs elsewhere, thereby reducing the quantity of her uptime but increasing the quality of it. Doesn’t look so bad in retrospect imo, but I suspect Blizz had their heart set on targeting Pharmercy.
last year they did a MASS REZ, GA mix experimental card and I loved it. Mercy felt so fun to play and I was hoping they would have launched it. I think over-all that is the most fun I had in the game and LOVED being a healer then!
Having now seen her numbers on many a scoreboard, I think the healing changes need to be reverted first and foremost. I’m still being forced to swap to Bap or Moira to deal with mercies my team just can’t kill, so her movement is fine, and honestly it was WAY too much before. I could get behind your 2sec suggestion.
The real problem both before and now is damage boost. That’s what needed changing.
I am however enjoying the “mercy is garbage now!!!waaaaaahhhh!!!” Threads just as much as I enjoyed the Genji and Hog threads though. “My character isn’t op or unkillable now”. “I actually have to put in effort to succeed”. Is what people are really saying, but of course it’s framed as “they took the fun away” by the players of all the aforementioned characters.
So I’ve been trying to refrain from saying what I personally would do, as these conversations usually devolve into people arguing over solutions instead of discussing/describing the problem. The devs have actually said somewhat recently that the ideal feedback is just players vocalizing their criticism in a way thay just says “I dont like _______, because it makes me feel like ______” (paraphrasing). All of that being said, here is what I would personally like to see:
Ive always wished they made it so that Rez was locked behind Valkyrie, and that she had a different E (used to want an AoE cleanse, but now Kiriko exists so it’d probably have to be something else) that turned into Rez during Valkyrie. They could give the Rez a slightly shorter cast time since it’d be locked behind the ultimate, and give her an actually useful cooldown that she could use during her neutral fight. This way Mercy players get a utility tool they can actually use, and Rez is still present as a part of the ultimate, giving both Valkyrie and Rez more weight.
If people wanted blue beam gone (I’m fine with it), that could be replaced with a different ability too for all I care. Just don’t touch her movement.
Oh and fwiw I did like that experimental Mercy change. I thought it was fun actually. Idk if Mass Rez ever has a place in the game again, but Ive long said that Mass Rez itself wasn’t the issue, it was that it was instant cast and didn’t require line of sight. Still, I think Mass Rez is dead for a reason, and probably will stay that way, unfortunately.
