What are your “Oh… shoot” moments?

I just had a game where I know the healer was too busy rezzing and couldn’t really heal me so I was being silly when I said it, but I tend to say things that you could consider toxic. I said: thanks for the healing B and then pure horror ran across my face when I realized my mic was unmuted. I said: oh shoot… sorry… uh bye? and left.:cold_sweat: :flushed: :sob:

Thank goodness it was only quickplay but I’m definitely expecting a report haha. When my mic’s muted, I tend to be like: what is this person doing? why are they so bad, but in chat I usually try to be positive and encourage them because that’s the person I would LIKE to be… but behind the screen I’m a terrible person :frowning: :frowning:

I think people heard me schedule a dinner get-together thing with my dad in a comp game. Thing is I honestly don’t remember if I toggled my mic or not.

That team was silent anyway so I’ll never know

so my bathroom is literally connected to my bedroom and i really had to pee so once i died i thought i flipped the mute switch on my mic and ran to the bathroom with my controller and headset still on me and peed. with my mic on. someone turned theirs on and said “really dude?” I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. I left team chat and just stopped playing for the night once the match ended.

I thought my mic was muted, but I said “Well looks like we are going lose this game…” Another time was when I thought my mic was muted, and I had to let a good one out… as I did, I also said with such discomfort " That one smelled nasty…" just for everyone on the team to spammed Understood.

Meanwhile… months ago, I was in a game where this kid was getting yelled at by his mom because it was past his bedtime. Let’s just say that she was not very happy, we even heard belts smacking sounds…

I stream, and sometimes talk to my chat while my mic is unmuted.

If I had to list all the times I’ve gone “Oh shoot”, I’d be here all day.

Don’t feel bad. I work at a place where we take phone calls for most of the day with people who are supposed to be professionals. And one of my coworkers totally had to listen to a dude take a pee AT WORK. Because he didn’t take his headset off or mute himself while going to the bathroom.

Me: “Wait, did I just sent him through the wall?” (I laughed so hard)

Teammate: “uh Doomfist are you ok in there”

Teammate 2: “Sent who through a wall?”

Teammate 3: “Focus Doomfist you’re doing great, don’t mess up”

Me: “Guys everything is ok, let’s just focus winning this match”

You know, sometimes when I kill someone with Rocket Punch and I look at their dead body and I just lol and I forget that I’m in voice chat.

I never use mic, but I do have a headset. During one match I accidentally turned the mic switch on. I’m silent so I didnt notice.

Team kept getting annihilated by the enemy, and it didnt help that Tracer kept feeding them. I think I said something like
This team is horrible.

That lead to a bunch of yelling about how I wasnt pulling my weight, and one shocked person going. OMG our Moira is a guy.

I hate voice chat
