I always found that fun, trying to keep control of more points than the enemy team in order to win, I wonder if that’d work for overwatch?
Wouldn’t mind trying it, but I imagine it would basically just be Push but with the issues of 2CP.
I think it works better in TF2 because there are far more players per team.
This looks so fun, even if not part of the main rotation could be a fun arcade mode
If Overwatch fans couldn’t handle 2CP, how in the world could they handle 5? There’d be riots, fights in the street. Symmetra would get another nerf for no real reason; it’d be awful!
Because it would be more of a tug of war type thing.
Heck, maybe they make a shorter version of the Push robot. And make them into Push Maps. Which happen to have 5 control points.
Maybe they make a little hovering “Mine Cart With a Bomb” on it.
Which in TF2 terms, would be Payload Race.
I think Halo had something similar? Loved it.
We could handle it fine.
It wasn’t any fun waiting for five minutes for Ults to come online for the ULT push, or matches often going to round 6, or being held in a choke with a tank that won’t push.
We are well shot of them.
If they return they can change the spawn point locations add more alternate routes and it would work fine.
5CP wouldn’t even play similarly.
5cp is actually predominantly enjoyed by 6v6 players in tf2. In 12v12, 5cp becomes a stalemate nightmare.
For the most part it’d probably work very well in OW, I’d imagine the main problem would be how strong back-capping would be, as OW has a really bad HUD that makes things like C9s so possible.
